I was saddened to read of John Wyman’s recent death. Having known John for many years,
I had grown to have a deep respect and appreciation for him. He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. He was respectful, courteous, gracious and consistently well-mannered. His church involvement at Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church was a reflection of his dearly held faith.
His community involvement was exemplary. As a Town Councilman, he was well informed on the issues brought before the council and was highly esteemed by those who agreed, as well as those who disagreed, with him on those issues. He was one of those rare individuals who was truly a role model for the citizens of our community.
