Josephine A. Fiorilli, 90, died suddenly Sept. 21, 2013, in Largo, Fla. Josephine (Jo) was a winter resident of Fountain Hills for 33 years. She was an active member of the Church of the Ascension.
She participated in fundraising by stuffing envelopes with food coupons and counting money on Monday mornings. She devoted many years to Our Lady’s Rosary Makers. She brought her rosary beads home during the summer and, even as her eyesight was failing, she beaded the bright plastic rosaries. She probably made hundreds if not thousands of rosaries over the years.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 73 years, Salvatore V. Fiorilli; daughter, Sally Ann Krakora (Charles); sons, Raymond (Karen), Kenneth, Stephen (Donna); six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life mass will be held at Church of Ascension in Fountain Hills on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made in her name to a charity or church of your choice.
