JOY Church is set to host its free movie night Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7 p.m.
“Remember the Goal” tells the story of a female coach fresh out of college who takes over the cross country program at an all girls’ Christian school and attempts to lead them to their first ever state title, according to a press release.
As the runners begin to train, the top five girls all deal separately with particular issues relevant to teen life. As each of these stories unfold, so does the wisdom of the young coach as she guides the girls along the pathway of life.
“Remember the Goal” is rated PG.
Movie nights at JOY Church are free and open to the public, along with free popcorn and soft drinks.
