Fountain Hills resident John T. (JT) Skewes recently completed his first novel, “Solaris Rising,” a thriller about a fictional future where two world powers have overtaken American soil.
Beginning in the year 2034, “Solaris Rising” follows the non-nuclear aftermath of World War III when world superpowers China and Russia have conquered North America, splitting the continent along the Rocky Mountains.
China has taken over the West with what it calls Pacifica and Russia has taken over the East, calling their territorial possession Petrovistan.
