Kathryn Wuanitha Stout, 96, passed away on Sept. 22, 2015. She was born on Oct. 20, 1918 in Ringold, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Pleasant W. and Ruby Carlock Blanks.
Kathryn was a beautiful woman who enjoyed her family so much and was always there for them. She was very artistic and talented and loved to crochet, knit and china paint. She was also very involved with the Eastern Star and Oriental Shrine. Kathryn spent many hours volunteering for many causes from both organizations. She will be greatly missed by all.
Kathryn is survived by her son, Lawrence S. Myers; daughter Jo Ann Serro and husband Anthony Serro; nine grandchildren,15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd. Funeral services will be held at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner’s Hospitals or to a favorite charity.
