Senior Keaton Ort is breaking records left and right this year.
He broke the Fountain Hills High School single-game three-point record with eight shots from deep against Chino Valley on Jan. 3, and he scored a career-high 33 points in the win over No. 6 Northwest Christian (8-4) on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
“I think we just moved the ball around well,” Ort said. “They’re top five, top six in 3A, so we knew we had to come out swinging on offense and defense, and then I think our defensive intensity turned to our offense, and we were just clicking.”
