Keep momentum

We are often asked, “What happens to the School District if I vote NO?” This is in regards to the Maintenance and Operations Override for our schools that will be voted on by the Fountain Hills tax payers on Nov. 7.

A NO vote would result in a loss of $4,500,000 to the School District in the years ahead! This would be extremely detrimental to the School District since the budgets are relatively small to begin with given only 1,450 students.

We have studied this Override and understand the wonderful benefits of voting YES.

We have studied this Override and understand the wonderful benefits of voting YES.

Funds from this override will provide many benefits:

*Maintain All-Day Kindergarten

*Teacher salary increases

*Provide professional development

*Hire additional staff for reading literacy support

*Financially reward staff for outstanding performance.

*Enable the District to maintain its award winning programs.

This will essentially be a continuation of an Override that has been supported by our Fountain Hills voters since 1999.

We strongly encourage that Fountain Hills voters approve of the continuation of this Override for the benefit of our students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community.

We have award winning Fountain Hills public schools and intend to keep that momentum going for years to come!
