Kenneth Doka

Kenneth “Kenny” Doka, 72, of Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation passed away Feb. 3, 2014.

Kenneth was born in Phoenix on Aug. 5, 1941 to Herbert and Catherine Doka. He graduated from Mesa High school 1960. Kenny married Polly Honannie April 28, 1967.

Kenneth worked for the City of Phoenix 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, ranching and rodeos. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Polly; children, Cheryl, Michael Sr., Marty II; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold “Larry” Doka; sister, Evalene Antone; granddaughter Erin Doka and baby Doka.

Viewing was held on Friday Feb. 7, at Messinger Mortuaries. Burial is at the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation cemetery.
