Kepler 452 B

A certain planet about another sun, having some physical characteristics as our own planet Earth. It is six billion years old or about 1.5 billion years older. It is distant, 1400 light years away, and 60 percent larger in size. And its solar year about its sun is 385 days versus our 365-day year. There may be life there like life here. At this time we have insufficient information to say for sure.

If life like our own is there, communication signals originating there would take 1400 years to get here. Meaning it would take about 70 generations in the future for us to receive them, if the signals are sent now.

Kepler 452 B is 1.5 billion years older, so a reasonable assumption is that if evolution started there, same time as ours, a conclusion could be: They are so far advanced they would not desire to communicate with human insects. How much direct communication do we have with bees?

A suggestion: Look for a better match and in more physical characteristics than Kepler 452 B if possible. Specifically one that is closer in age to Earth’s age. And to make communication more practical, much closer than 1400 light years away.

Even if better matches are found, our human kind may still not find life capable of communicating. And that is because we are indeed alone in the universe.

Basically scientists are making measurements and inferring without as yet known data. Unless and until, a posteriori, actual communication is established, it is anybody’s guess.

In the meantime take care of Mother Earth, and have green peace days.
