'Killer' food and fun at theater's annual murder mystery fundraiser

Fountain Hills Theater presents its annual “Eat, Drink and Be Murdered” fundraiser.

Set for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20, at 5:30 p.m. at Desert Canyon Golf Club, the fundraiser will be a “killer” night of food, fun, crime-solving and philanthropy.

Ticket prices include dinner, an interactive show and an opportunity for the community to give back to their favorite local theater. Tickets are available at the Fountain Hills Theater Box Office at 480-837-9661 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. online purchases can be made at fhtaz.org.

Fountain Hills Theater presents its annual “Eat, Drink and Be Murdered” fundraiser.

Set for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20, at 5:30 p.m. at Desert Canyon Golf Club, the fundraiser will be a “killer” night of food, fun, crime-solving and philanthropy.

Ticket prices include dinner, an interactive show and an opportunity for the community to give back to their favorite local theater. Tickets are available at the Fountain Hills Theater Box Office at 480-837-9661 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. online purchases can be made at fhtaz.org.

Tickets are $50 per person and $35 for children 12 and younger. A table of 10 may be purchased for $40 per person.

Directed and adapted by Youth Theater Artistic and Technical Director Ross Collins, the event features popular youth theater performers from past and present productions. Players include Logan Barrett, Skye Brewster, Caleb De Los Santos, Lachlan Henderson, Haylee Klein, Nick Maddox, Katie Male, Patrick Moyse, Chloe Rozalsky, Mike Romano and Emily Spets.

When Black Jack White shows up to destroy his daughter’s wedding, someone cashes in on his chips. It’s up to audience members and Sheriff Ed Earl Dodd to solve the whodunit mystery

In addition to the mystery solving, guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, gaming tables, a silent auction and the “Dueling Elvi” competition. Participants will try to unseat the “King of Rock and Roll.”
