Kite festival returns to Fountain Hills March 9

Catch the wind at Fountain Park

The Basant Mela Kite Festival returns to Fountain Park Saturday, March 9.

Celebrating its 18th year, the kite festival is hosted by the Pakistan Information and Cultural Organization (PICO), inviting families of all ages to participate in a day of kite flying, food, music and festivities.

PICO President Omar Hameed says this event is especially exciting for children and families to spend the day outside.
