With the end of the Re-public Services Communi-ty Grant voting ending this week, we wanted to let you know what we’ve been doing since voting started April 15.
Feral kittens found: 16 (12 made available for adoption, 4 returned to colonies)
Feral adult cats found: 6 (2 adopted, 4 returned to colony)
Found, not trapped: 8 cats and kittens (mom moved kittens before able to trap; still trying)
Assistance with lost cats: 11
Assistance with found cats: 3
Assistance with found deceased cats: 3
Total number of cats and kittens adopted: 49
We also assisted with three owner surrender situations. One owner was unable to care for their cat and three cats came to us as a result of tragic family circumstances.
We accepted 6 cats slated for euthanasia from a kill shelter.
In addition, we accept-ed 28 cats from the sur-rounding communities.
We want to thank you for your support and en-courage you to continue voting until the last mi-nute on Aug. 15.
