Kudos to our Congressman, David Schweikert! My husband, Roy – a WW2 Veteran – and I spent a few weeks recently with family in Illinois, Indiana, New York City and Washington, D.C. We concluded our travels at the special Capital Fourth Event we’ve watched for so many years on PBS.

Some months ago I contacted Rep. Schweikert’s office about perhaps arranging some special seating for Roy, myself and our two daughters. He personally replied immediately. We felt honored and very special at the event in “reserved seating” where we saw a grand and glorious celebration of our nation’s birthday.

Thank you, Congressman Schweikert and your wonderful staff, for making our 2016 summer of Roy’s 90th birthday a glowing memory!
