Deputies with Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office took reports on a number of incidents in Fountain Hills between April 4 and April 11. The incidents are summarized here:

*On Tuesday, April 9, deputies were called to the 11000 block of Buffalo Drive to investigate a suspicious circumstance. An individual was seen taking building materials from a construction site and later returned with the material. It was not immediately determined whether the subject was authorized to take the materials.

*On Monday, April 8, deputies received a report of a shoplifting incident at a Fountain Hills grocery store. Merchandise valued at several hundred dollars was reported taken. An investigation is continuing.

Deputies with Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office took reports on a number of incidents in Fountain Hills between April 4 and April 11. The incidents are summarized here:

*On Tuesday, April 9, deputies were called to the 11000 block of Buffalo Drive to investigate a suspicious circumstance. An individual was seen taking building materials from a construction site and later returned with the material. It was not immediately determined whether the subject was authorized to take the materials.

*On Monday, April 8, deputies received a report of a shoplifting incident at a Fountain Hills grocery store. Merchandise valued at several hundred dollars was reported taken. An investigation is continuing.

*On Monday, April 8, a resident of the 16800 block of Alamosa Avenue reported someone had stolen a diamond ring from their residence.

*On Sunday, April 7, deputies arrested an individual following a traffic stop in the area of Indian Wells and Saguaro Blvd. The person was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

*On Sunday, April 7, deputies received a report that a black Jeep had collided with another vehicle in the area of Palisades Boulevard and Parkview Ave. The driver fled the scene. An investigation is underway.

*On Friday, April 5, deputies received a report of an individual trespassing at a business in the area of Saguaro Blvd. and Desert Vista. The subject was removed from the premises and charges are pending.

*On Thursday, April 4, deputies investigated a collision in the area of La Montana Drive and Avenue of the Fountains. One of the drivers appeared to be impaired. An investigation is continuing.

*On Thursday, April 4, deputies received a report that someone had illegally dumped trash into a community dumpster in the 11600 block of Saguaro Blvd.

*On Wednesday, April 3, detectives located and arrested a subject for shoplifting from a Fountain Hills department store. The individual was charged with multiple counts and booked into jail in Phoenix.

Deputies received calls on eight non-injury collisions during this timeframe.

*On Tuesday, April 9, there was a report of a rear-end collision near Fountain Hills High School. Deputies were cancelled prior to arrival.

*On Monday, April 8, there was a report of a rear-end collision near Eagle Mountain Parkway and Shea Blvd. One vehicle collided with another as they pulled from a stop. Driver inattention is the suspected cause.

*On Monday, April 8, there was a report of a private property collision near Palisades Blvd. and La Montana Drive.

*On Friday, April 5, there was a report of a private property collision in the 16600 block of Avenue of the Fountains.

*On Friday, April 5, there was a collision of two vehicles at Palisades Blvd. and Westby Drive. The investigation indicates one driver failed to yield from a stop sign.

*On Thursday, April 4, deputies responded to a collision in the area of El Lago and Saguaro boulevards. The cause appeared to be driver inattention.

*Sunday, April 7, 4:01 p.m., shoplifting, 16600 block of Palisades Blvd.

*Thursday, April 11, 6:32 p.m., assault, 14900 block of Eagle Mountain Parkway.

*Friday, April 12, 9:07 a.m., theft, 16000 block of Ironwood Drive.

*Friday, April 12, 1:56 p.m., 1:56 p.m., shoplifting, 13700 block of Fountain Hills Blvd.
