Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an 84-year-old Fountain Hills man who was found deceased in his home on Buffalo Drive after neighbors called and asked for a welfare check.
Neighbors said they had not seen the man for about a week before calling deputies Wednesday, March 20. His vehicle had not moved in the driveway.
MCSO notified family the man has in Chandler, and reported that indications are death was by natural causes.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an 84-year-old Fountain Hills man who was found deceased in his home on Buffalo Drive after neighbors called and asked for a welfare check.
Neighbors said they had not seen the man for about a week before calling deputies Wednesday, March 20. His vehicle had not moved in the driveway.
MCSO notified family the man has in Chandler, and reported that indications are death was by natural causes.
*On Wednesday, March 20, a resident of the 14800 block of El Sobrante Ave. reported the theft of two pair of sunglasses from a vehicle glovebox. The vehicle was not secured.
*On Friday, March 15, deputies received a report of a theft of credit cards from the victim’s purse. The victim provided suspect information as family.
*On Wednesday, March 20, a resident reported that someone had opened a bank account with the victim’s personal information. They are unwilling to aid in prosecution.
*On Saturday, March 16, deputies received a report of a bicycle stolen from the rear of a restaurant on Avenue of the Fountains. The bicycle was not chained.
*On Tuesday, March 19, a high school student reported someone had intentionally scratched the paint on his vehicle. He provided suspect information.
*On Sunday, March 17, a resident of the 15800 block of Centipede Drive reported a clay flower pot had been broken in the middle of their driveway.
Deputies continue to investigate traffic accidents on a regular basis, according to Capt. Larry Kratzer.
*On Wednesday, March 20, there was a collision at the intersection of Verde River Drive and Parkview Avenue at about 4 p.m. One of the vehicles ran a stop sign.
*On Sunday, March 17, deputies received a call from a bartender about two individuals who left the bar after he refused to serve them. They collided with a mailbox and wrecked the vehicle on the median. They walked away from the vehicle and were not located.
*On Monday, March 18, a resident of the 16900 block of Monterey Drive reported their vehicle was struck while parked on the street. Deputies located the driver at a nearby residence and they had received a slight injury.

*Tuesday, March 19, 1 p.m., criminal damage, 16100 block of Palisades Blvd.
*Wednesday, March 20, 2:03 p.m., theft, 15400 block of McDowell Mountain Road.
*Wednesday, March 20, 2:49 p.m., theft, 13200 block of Fountain Hills Blvd.
*Thursday, March 21, 11:58 a.m., theft, 15800 block of El Lago Blvd.
*Friday, March 22, 12:33 p.m., burglary from vehicle, El Lago and Panorama Drive.
*Friday, March 22, 12:36 p.m., burglary from vehicle, 12900 block of Saguaro Blvd.
