On Thursday, Jan. 10, a Florida man was arrested in Fountain Hills in possession of four collectable comic books worth nearly $100,000. The comic books were reportedly a portion of the 450 items stolen with a value of $1.4 million.

The man arrested, Phillip Weisbauer, 30, was followed by Phoenix Police after he attempted to sell the comic books to a Phoenix dealer. It is unclear what agency made the arrest and under what circumstances.

Weisbauer faces two felony charges for possession of stolen property and trafficking in stolen property.

*Sunday, Jan. 20, 1:15 p.m., burglary from a vehicle, 12100 block of N. 145th Way (Scottsdale PD).

*Sunday, Jan. 20, 1:15 p.m., burglary from a vehicle, 12100 block of N. 145th Way (Scottsdale PD).

*Sunday, Jan. 20, 3:07 p.m., criminal damage, 14500 block of Golden Eagle Blvd.

*Sunday, Jan. 20, 7:34 p.m., burglary from a vehicle, 11800 block of Saguaro Blvd.

*Monday, Jan. 21, 11:37 a.m., shoplifting, 16800 block of Shea Blvd.

*Tuesday, Jan. 22, 12:06 p.m., criminal damage, 16600 Westby Drive.

*Saturday, Jan. 26, 9:11 a.m., criminal damage, 14200 block of Saguaro Blvd.
