Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills responded to a report of a man lying on the ground near Shea Boulevard and Technology Drive.

Deputies found the male subject who said he had been sleeping.

Upon checking his identity deputies found that the man had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked into county jail in Phoenix.

Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills responded to a report of a man lying on the ground near Shea Boulevard and Technology Drive.

Deputies found the male subject who said he had been sleeping.

Upon checking his identity deputies found that the man had outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked into county jail in Phoenix.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 29, the owner of the Sears store on Palisades Boulevard reported a shoplifting incident. A male subject came into the store and asked for an item that needed to be checked on in back. When the store owner went to check on the item the suspect removed a drill/driver valued at $200 and left the scene.

*On Monday, Dec. 11, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone, she believes it to be her ex-boyfriend, had used her bank card to open a Netflix account.

*On Thursday, Dec. 14, a man reported someone had removed the license plate from his vehicle while it was parked in front of the Tractor Supply store on Shea Boulevard.

*On Thursday, Dec. 14, deputies stopped a Phoenix man making an illegal right turn onto Shea Boulevard at Palisades Boulevard. They found that the man was driving with a suspended driver license. He was cited and released at the scene.

*On Thursday, Dec. 14, a Fountain Hills man reported someone withdrew $1,893 from his checking account without permission.

*On Thursday, Dec. 14, a Fountain Hills man reported that someone had fraudulently attempted to order items online using his department store account for pickup at a store in Maryland. The amount charged was $300.

*On Thursday, Dec. 14, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had cashed a fraudulent check for $98 on his account at a Florida location.

*On Saturday, Dec. 16, a Phoenix man was stopped by a deputy for speeding on Fountain Hills Boulevard near Palomino Boulevard. He was cited for traveling in excess of 20 miles per hour over the speed limit (64 in a 35 zone) and had no driver license. He was cited and released at the scene.

*On Sunday, Dec. 17, a Fountain Hills man reported a bicycle valued at $650 was stolen from his residence in the 14000 block of Kings Way.

*On Thursday, Dec. 14, a Fountain Hills woman reported jewelry valued at approximately $3,600 stolen from her home. She reported that a window washer had been at the residence.

*On Tuesday, Dec. 19, a resident of the 14000 block of Oakwood lane reported someone had broken the lock and entered a storage area on her property.

*On Monday, Dec. 18, a Fountain Hills woman reported receiving threatening phone calls at her place of work in the 1100 block of Saguaro Boulevard.
