Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 14000 block of Edgeworth Drive on Sunday, Oct. 22.

A woman at the address reported her husband had pushed her off a chair during a fight.

She said an argument began when she said she believed her husband was being too rough wrestling with her seven-year-old son. The argument escalated to a physical confrontation.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 14000 block of Edgeworth Drive on Sunday, Oct. 22.

A woman at the address reported her husband had pushed her off a chair during a fight.

She said an argument began when she said she believed her husband was being too rough wrestling with her seven-year-old son. The argument escalated to a physical confrontation.

There was no report of injury to the boy. The husband was arrested for assault.

*On Sunday, Oct. 22, deputies were called and asked to remove a couple from the MorningStar assisted living facility on Paul Nordin Parkway. Deputies reported a disturbance over the couple attempting to remove a family member from the facility against the wishes of the assigned power of attorney. The couple was removed from the property and trespassed due to disruptive behavior.

*On Monday, Oct. 23, deputies responded to a traffic accident at Saguaro Boulevard and Trevino Drive. A driver making a left turn from Trevino to northbound Saguaro stopped as a vehicle made a left turn in front of them. A vehicle traveling behind the first vehicle struck it in the rear. There were no injuries.

*On Monday, Oct. 23, deputies were called to a report of a fight at the Shea and Saguaro boulevards intersection. Deputies made contact with a woman in the area. She had a pipe and admitted to smoking methamphetamine. She was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 24, deputies received a report of a burglary at a residence in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard. The victim said someone had stolen a tool box from his garage with tools valued at $1,000.

*On Monday, Oct. 23, a resident of the 16000 block of Ironwood Drive reported someone had stolen patio tables valued at $225 from their home.

*On Monday, Oct. 23, deputies were contacted by representatives of the Town of Fountain Hills who reported the theft of landscape material from around the entry of Four Peaks Park on Del Cambre Avenue. Officials reported the theft of eight barrel cactus from the landscaped area. The estimated value is $1,200 to $1,600.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 24, a resident of the 15000 block of Trevino Drive reported someone had entered his home and removed a Rolex watch and other valuables. The victim had been away from the residence since Oct. 3.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 24, deputies received a report of a theft of $40 in coins from the coin-operated laundry equipment at the Comfort Inn on Shea Boulevard.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 24, deputies received a report of two female subjects in the 14000 block of Golden Eagle Boulevard who were going door-to-door soliciting for magazine subscriptions. Deputies made contact with the subjects who said they were not aware that a permit was necessary. They were cooperative. They said they suspect the person who complained was a man who had brandished a gun at them. Deputies gave them a warning about soliciting without a permit and gave them a courtesy ride to the intersection of Fountain Hills and Palisades boulevards to wait for their ride.

*On Thursday, Oct. 25, deputies received a report of shoplifting at the Fountain Hills Target store on Shea Boulevard. Store security personnel identified a male and female as suspects who had stolen from the store previously. In this instance they are believed to have removed nine Amazon Firesticks with a total value of $350.
