Employees had discovered tools missing from a shed on the property and, checking surveillance video, observed a male subject pull up in the alley behind the nursery, climb over the fence and make several trips back and forth from the shed to his truck taking various landscaping tools.
Employees said the suspect removed nine pieces of landscape equipment with a total estimated value of $3,350.

Employees had discovered tools missing from a shed on the property and, checking surveillance video, observed a male subject pull up in the alley behind the nursery, climb over the fence and make several trips back and forth from the shed to his truck taking various landscaping tools.
Employees said the suspect removed nine pieces of landscape equipment with a total estimated value of $3,350.
*On Thursday, Aug. 24, a Scottsdale woman was arrested for extreme DUI following a traffic stop near N. 144th St. and Aloe Verde Drive in the Rio Verde Foothills area.
*On Thursday, Aug. 24, employees at the Four Sons gas station at Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards reported a male subject inserting a card into each pump and, as he did, the security monitoring shut down. When an employee went out to challenge the man he ran to a vehicle driven by someone else and fled the scene.
*On Thursday, Aug. 10, a Fountain Hills resident reported someone made fraudulent charges using their debit card number.
*On Friday, Aug. 25, deputies were called to assist Fort McDowell Police in an attempt to locate a suspect who led officers in a high-speed chase along SR 87 and onto the reservation. MCSO provided aerial support with a helicopter and K-9 deputies. No suspects were located.
*On Friday, Aug. 25, a Fountain Hills resident reported the theft of a pool umbrella valued at $200 from their back yard.
*On Sunday, Aug. 27, deputies responded to a report of a fight at a bar on Parkview Avenue in Fountain Hills. Deputies received reports that the fight may have involved as many as 20 people and stemmed from a political disagreement. One man was injured and was evaluated by paramedics, but he refused treatment and would not cooperate with deputies in the investigation. A vehicle with several people matching the description of a witness was stopped nearby and the occupants admitted to being at the bar but insisted they left and were not involved in the fight.
*On Monday, Aug. 28, deputies were called to the Fountain Hills Safeway store regarding several shoplifting incidents. A deputy spotted a vehicle matching a description of a suspect vehicle and made contact. A female subject was arrested and booked on an outstanding warrant for her arrest. A male subject was cited for the shoplifting incidents and released.
*On Sunday, Aug. 27, deputies located a vehicle reported stolen in Mesa on Muskrat Drive in Fountain Hills. The vehicle was located and disabled by OnStar. The owner came to Fountain Hills to claim the vehicle.
*On Monday, Aug. 28, a woman was arrested on two outstanding felony warrants for drug charges. Deputies made contact with the woman during an unrelated investigation.
*On Thursday, Aug. 24, a resident of the 15000 block of Chicory Drive reported someone had stolen camping items from a storage locker adjacent to the house. It was not immediately determined what was stolen.
*On Friday, Aug. 25, deputies responded to a report of a private property vehicle accident in the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard. A resident was pulling into a parking space in front of the Wells Fargo Bank branch when they failed to stop and collided with the building. The driver told deputies her foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator causing the vehicle to jump over the stop blocks. There was minor damage to the vehicle. A window was broken out at the corner of the building.
*On Tuesday, Aug. 29, Salt River Police officers made a traffic stop near Loop 101 and McKellips Road and questioned two male subjects. Officers found property in the vehicle and on the subjects identified as belonging at a Fountain Hills address on Manzanita Drive. Deputies contacted the property owner who confirmed the property belonged to him. The suspects were held on possession of stolen property charges. Further charges are pending investigation.
*On Wednesday, Aug. 30, deputies were called to the Fountain Hills Target store for a report of shoplifting. Store security personnel had observed on surveillance video two suspects, a man and woman, disable security pegs on merchandise and remove three sets of wireless headphones valued at $200 each.
