Deputies were responding to a report of threats made to a neighbor in the area on Tuesday, July 25.
The suspect was reportedly belligerent and uncooperative with deputies during the encounter. He was repeatedly told to stand down and allow deputies to conduct their investigation or he would be arrested for disorderly conduct.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after they were called to a residence in the 13000 block of E. Westlund Road in an unincorporated county area.
Deputies were responding to a report of threats made to a neighbor in the area on Tuesday, July 25.
The suspect was reportedly belligerent and uncooperative with deputies during the encounter. He was repeatedly told to stand down and allow deputies to conduct their investigation or he would be arrested for disorderly conduct.
*On Wednesday, July 19, a Fountain Hills woman reported two juvenile males shooting a BB gun from Ashbrook Wash behind her home in the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive. One BB struck a shed the woman was working in and nearly hit her. She told deputies she does not believe the juveniles saw her. She did not get a clear look at them and they fled when she said something to them. Deputies were unable to locate the suspects.
*On Thursday, July 20, a Fountain Hills man reported receiving a parcel package with prescription drugs. When he opened the package the pill bottle was empty. He discovered a cut in the envelope that had been taped over.
*On Wednesday, July 19, a Fountain Hills juvenile male reported his headphones were stolen while he was at the Fountain Hills Library. He left the table for a moment and the headphones were gone when he returned. The estimated value is $200.
*On Thursday, July 20, deputies stopped a Phoenix man for excessive speed on Saguaro Boulevard and took the man into custody for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was reportedly travelling 56 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35.
*On Friday, July 21, a Mesa man was stopped for speeding on Shea Boulevard, traveling 65 where the speed limit is 45. He was also cited for no insurance and driving with a suspended license.
*On Saturday, July 22, deputies received a report that a window was broken at a veterinarian’s office in the 16000 block of Parkview Avenue. A suspect was found in the area with lacerations to his arm with it wrapped in a shirt.
*On Sunday, July 23, a Fountain Hills woman reported two child safety seats were stolen from her vehicle left parked on the carport in the 17000 block of Calle del Oro. The woman had been away from the residence for about a month. She found a tear in the window of the Jeep for access to the vehicle.
*On Monday, July 24, a Coolidge, Ariz. woman reported someone had used her identification to establish a Cox cable account for a Fountain Hills residence.
*On Monday, July 24, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone used her debit card number to make an unauthorized purchase.
*On Wednesday, July 26, deputies were called to a reported fight between a couple at a residence in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard. The two were arguing over the use of a cell phone. Deputies are submitting potential charges of domestic violence disorderly conduct to the town prosecutor for review.
