Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman following a report she had assaulted her mother at the mother’s residence in the 13000 block of Hamilton Drive on Friday, April 28.

The report was that the daughter had pushed the mother down, causing injury.

Later, about 1 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, deputies returned to the residence after receiving a report of an unwanted guest.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman following a report she had assaulted her mother at the mother’s residence in the 13000 block of Hamilton Drive on Friday, April 28.

The report was that the daughter had pushed the mother down, causing injury.

Later, about 1 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, deputies returned to the residence after receiving a report of an unwanted guest.

The daughter’s boyfriend was pounding on the door and the woman would not let him in.

Deputies took the man into custody for disorderly conduct as well as resisting arrest and assault on a deputy.

*On Tuesday, April 25, deputies responded to a report of shoplifting at the Goodwill store in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard. A male and female were seen taking a ring valued at $600 from the store.

*On Saturday, April 29, deputies received a report of a woman with Alzheimer’s missing from her home in the 15000 block of Acacia Way. The woman was located walking her dog on Eagle Ridge Drive near the CopperWynd Resort.

*On Friday, April 28, a resident of the 14000 block of E. Bramble Berry Drive reported a man had made threats against his parents at that address. The suspect had also allegedly made threats and caused damage to the house. The parents did not wish to file charges, but wanted the son trespassed from their property.

*On Friday, March 28, a Fountain Hills man reported to deputies that there had been several incidents of criminal damage by someone throwing eggs in his neighborhood around the 15000 block of Fairy Duster. On Thursday, April 27, deputies also received reports of damage by egging in the 16000 block of Glenbrook Boulevard and in the 11000 block of Winchester Drive.

*On Wednesday, April 26, a Fountain Hills man reported that someone had used his identification to open two credit card accounts and had charged $2,400 in his name.

*On Wednesday, April 26, deputies were notified of a shoplifting incident at the Fountain Hills Target store. An employee had observed several disabled anti-theft devices on the floor, which had come from electronic gaming devices. Value of the merchandise is estimated at $1,500.

*On Tuesday, April 25, a Fountain Hills couple reported someone had cashed a fraudulent check on their account for $395. *On Monday, May 1, a Fountain Hills juvenile male was found in possession of alcohol while on campus at Fountain Hills High School.

*On Monday, May 1, a Fountain Hills man reported finding a two-year-old neighbor girl wandering outside her home unsupervised. The mother eventually came to get the child saying someone else was watching her. Deputies are following up on the incident.

*On Friday, April 29, a Fountain Hills man reported the theft of a turquoise bear art piece valued at $2,900. The man had posted the item for sale on the Internet and a male prospective buyer came to purchase the item. The buyer left an envelope on the counter saying it was the money, took the bear and left quickly. The victim said that upon checking the envelope he found only clipped up newspaper.

*On Thursday, April 28, a female juvenile reported she was struck in the hand by a Frisbee during a gym class at Fountain Hills High School. Students were taking part in a disc golf class but the girl was not participating due to a previous injury and was sitting aside when she was struck. The girl reported she believes the incident was an act of bullying.
