Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a Fountain Hills medical lab on Friday, May 5, for an unruly patient that refused to leave.

Deputies responded to the business in the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard when an employee said the man was being abusive and disorderly. He came into the lab for a blood draw and demanded service. The woman told the man she would not do the draw until he calmed down and he continued yelling and pounding his fist on the counter.

The suspect was uncooperative with deputies and they attempted to take him into custody he threw himself on the floor and accused the deputy of assaulting him.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a Fountain Hills medical lab on Friday, May 5, for an unruly patient that refused to leave.

Deputies responded to the business in the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard when an employee said the man was being abusive and disorderly. He came into the lab for a blood draw and demanded service. The woman told the man she would not do the draw until he calmed down and he continued yelling and pounding his fist on the counter.

The suspect was uncooperative with deputies and they attempted to take him into custody he threw himself on the floor and accused the deputy of assaulting him.

The man faces charges for trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

*On Tuesday, May 2, deputies were approached by an employee of a fast food restaurant in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard. The employee reported a man at the drive through window appeared to be intoxicated and they were concerned about a child in the car. Deputies approached the man and did standard sobriety tests before citing him for DUI. The suspect was released at the scene to another person.

*On Monday, May 2, deputies stopped a Surprise, Ariz. man on Saguaro Boulevard for speeding in excess of 20 mile over the speed limit. He was traveling 57 where the speed limit is 35 miles per hour. He was also cited for having no current registration and driving with a suspended license plate.

*On Thursday, May 4, deputies observed a vehicle parked near Desert Vista Park with signs it had been there for some time. A check found that the vehicle was a rental car reported stolen in Bullhead City, Ariz.

*On Thursday, May 4, a Fountain Hills man reported someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked in the 17000 block of Via Del Oro. He discovered items missing from the vehicle console while driving to work. He reported an iPod and $200 in cash missing.

*On Thursday, May 4, a Fountain Hills man reported an unauthorized purchase on his credit card totaling $175.

*On Friday, May 5, a Kirkland, Ariz. man was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop at Avenue of the Fountains and Verde River Drive. He was turned over the Scottsdale Police.

*On Friday, May 5, a resident of the 17000 block of Sunscape Drive reported someone broke into a vehicle parked in their driveway.

*On Friday, May 5, a Chandler woman was arrested for shoplifting at the Fountain Hills Target store. She was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

*On Friday, May 5, an elderly man stopped by the Sheriff’s substation in Fountain Hills and reported he had struck the stop sign in the intersection of Verde River Drive and Parkview Avenue.

*On Friday, May 5, a Fountain Hills woman reported her bank notified her that an unknown person attempted to open accounts using her Social Security number.

*On Friday, May 5, a Fountain Hills business reported that a former client had posted false statements about the business to Facebook and asked for $500 to have the information removed.

*On Saturday, May 6, a man reportedly broke a sliding glass door at the residence of his ex-girlfriend in the 17000 block of Calle del Oro.

*On Saturday, May 6, Sunridge Canyon Golf Club reported its computer system was hacked with ransomware.

*On Friday, May 5, a Fountain Hills woman was stopped with only one headlight on Fountain Hills Boulevard at Bainbridge Avenue. She was also cited for driving with a suspended/revoked driver license, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an open container in the vehicle.

*On Saturday, May 6, a California man was stopped for speeding on Shea Boulevard, traveling 66 where the speed limit is 50, and was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was cited and allowed to continue with another driver.

*On Monday, May 8, a resident of the 30000 block of N. 144th Street reported a subject had forced their way into the home and was refusing to leave. Deputies arrested the man for disorderly fighting and seriously disruptive behavior.

*On Tuesday, May 9, deputies were called to a Scottsdale hospital where a woman reporting an assault. She reported having dinner with her kids and a cousin in Fountain Hills on Monday, May 8. She reported the cousin did not like how she was treating her kids and attacked her, causing injury.

*On Tuesday, May 9, a man was arrested in Fountain Park for possession of alcohol while in the park. Deputies were responding to a report of a suspicious person at about 10 p.m.

*On Monday, May 8, a woman residing in the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive reported her vehicle was broken into following an incident where a strange man came into her home, but left saying he was in the wrong place after she confronted him. She had left the door unlocked for someone she was expecting.

*On Wednesday, May 10, deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person walking along the street in the 14000 block of Cerro Alto Drive. Deputies saw the man pushing a shopping cart which he abandoned when he saw deputies. The man was wanted in Buckeye, Ariz. for trespassing and criminal damage.
