Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills received a report that a Payson man had assaulted his girlfriend while she was working at a residence in Fountain Hills on Saturday, April 1.
The woman, also a Payson resident, was cleaning a building in the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd.
The suspect reportedly went to that residence where she was working and spit a liquid, believed to be water, in her face.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills received a report that a Payson man had assaulted his girlfriend while she was working at a residence in Fountain Hills on Saturday, April 1.
The woman, also a Payson resident, was cleaning a building in the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd.
The suspect reportedly went to that residence where she was working and spit a liquid, believed to be water, in her face.
Deputies were unable to speak with the suspect immediately, but he could face charges for assault.
*On Wednesday, March 29, deputies received a report that burglars forced entry into a residence in the 27000 block of N. 160th Street and removed several items including jewelry. Total value of the stolen property is estimated at $6,000.
*On Saturday, March 25, a Fountain Hills woman reported receiving a bogus check for $1,500 for a bicycle she is selling with an internet advertisement for $300.
*On Thursday, March 30, a Glendale man was stopped by deputies in Fountain Hills after he was exhibiting unusual driving behavior. A records check found that the man was driving with a suspended driver license.
*On Thursday, March 30, deputies responded to a complaint about a man shooting at birds with a pellet gun. The man told deputies the birds were bothersome and he did not know it was illegal to shoot them. He was cited for a Town Code violation of discharging a firearm within town limits.
*On Thursday, March 30, deputies received a report that someone had stolen bicycles from outside a restaurant in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd.
*On Friday, March 31, a Fountain Hills woman reported her ex-husband violated an order of protection by sending her text messages.
*On Friday, March 31, a resident of the 17000 block of Tejon Drive reported someone had thrown eggs at her home.
*On Friday, March 31, a resident of the 10000 block of Indian Wells Drive reported an unknown person had thrown eggs at their residence.
*On Saturday, April 1, employees at the Fountain Hills Bashas’ store stopped a male suspect attempting to leave the store with a bottle of liquor hidden in his pants. The value of the liquor was $21 and the suspect returned the bottle to store employees.
*On Sunday, April 2, a Fountain Hills man reported there were several items missing from the console in his vehicle that had been parked in his garage in the 11000 block of Sycamore Drive.
*On Thursday, March 30, deputies received a report that an unknown suspect had removed a hedge trimmer valued at $230 from a landscape business in the 16000 block of Enterprise Drive.
*On Sunday, April 2, a U-Haul truck reported stolen in Las Vegas was recovered in Fountain Hills. The truck was towed to the U-Haul Storage business on Technology Drive.
*On Thursday, March 30, a Fountain Hills woman reported her iPhone had been lost. When she used a “find my phone” app it was found to be at a location in the 12000 block of Tower Drive, just a couple of blocks from where she said she lost it.
*On Sunday, April 2, deputies responded to an audible alarm at a residence in the 16000 block of Jacklin Drive. While investigating, deputies were approached by a Scottsdale man who said he was a Realtor and accidently set off the alarm. Deputies discovered the man had a suspended driver license and he was cited and released, but his vehicle was impounded.
*On Friday, March 3, a Fountain Hills man reported he was defrauded by an unknown person over the phone claiming to be from Microsoft wanting to update his software subscription and they should send $400 in iTunes gift cards.
*On Tuesday, April 4, a Fountain Hills man reported two unknown suspects attempted to open two credit card accounts at separate banks using his identification.
*On Wednesday, April 5, deputies received a report that someone had shoplifted a drone valued at $120 from Paul’s Hardware on La Montana Drive. The white, female suspect left the store but employees were able to provide information for follow-up.
