Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a reported aggravated assault on property in the unincorporated county in the 30000 block of N. 144th Street on Sunday, April 9.

Deputies were met by a woman at the scene who said she had an argument with her husband who had tied her to a chair with duct tape and made threats with a knife. The woman said she did not want to press charges and the suspect had left the scene.

Case is pending a follow-up interview with suspect.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a reported aggravated assault on property in the unincorporated county in the 30000 block of N. 144th Street on Sunday, April 9.

Deputies were met by a woman at the scene who said she had an argument with her husband who had tied her to a chair with duct tape and made threats with a knife. The woman said she did not want to press charges and the suspect had left the scene.

Case is pending a follow-up interview with suspect.

*On Thursday, April 6, deputies were called to a residence in the 16000 block of Tabasco Circle. A man reported his two daughters had gotten into a fight with one another over a male friend staying overnight.

*On Wednesday, April 5, deputies received a report from management at FireRock Country Club that they suspected an employee of theft.

*On Wednesday, April 5, deputies removed the license plate from a vehicle they stopped near Shea and Technology. The license was suspended.

*On Wednesday, April 5, deputies took a man into custody for a narcotics violation after he was stopped near Fountain Hills and Palisades boulevards. Deputies discovered marijuana in the vehicle. The man claimed to have a medical marijuana card, but could not prove it.

*On Thursday, April 6, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone took an iPad Touch from her residence in the 15000 block of Boulder Drive. The item has a $250 value.

*On Thursday, April 6, a Mesa woman was cited for excessive speed while traveling McDowell Mountain Road. Deputies report she was traveling 62 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35.

*On Thursday, April 6, deputies responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 16000 block of Chiquita Drive. Two men were arguing over a homeowners association issue.

*On Friday, April 7, a Fountain Hills woman reported being assaulted at Fountain Park during the showing of a movie. The woman had an altercation with two people who questioned two small girls encroaching on a blanket they had put down. The woman complaining said she was pushed and fell. In reporting the incident deputies indicated that after investigating they were more inclined to find the woman who complained to be at fault.

*On Friday, April 7, a Phoenix man was cited for operating a vehicle without a license after he was stopped at La Montana and Arroyo Vista drives.

*On Saturday, April 8, a Fountain Hills woman reported an exchange she had with a handyman she had hired and asked that the work be redone when she found it unsatisfactory. She reported the man was surly while redoing the work and she had to ask him to leave. No crime was committed.

*On Sunday, April 9, unknown suspects entered the back yard of a residence in the 16000 block of Bayfield Drive and removed a patio umbrella.

*On Sunday, April 9, a Fountain Hills woman reported the fraudulent use of her credit card.

*On Monday, April 10, a Fountain Hills woman faces potential charges for disorderly conduct following a confrontation with her neighbor in the 15000 block of Stratford Circle. She allegedly was yelling obscenities at him and driving her vehicle toward him in a threatening manner. The woman was upset by the man having tow trucks picking up vehicles at his residence frequently.

*On Monday, April 10, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for domestic violence disorderly conduct after he had an altercation with his girlfriend at a residence in the 14000 block of Sherwood Drive.

*On Tuesday, April 11, a Fountain Hills couple reported they were told they were possible targets of ID theft after someone attempted to change a PIN number for their debit card.

*On Tuesday, April 11, a Phoenix man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a residence in the 17000 block of Calaveras Avenue in Fountain Hills. The warrant was from a Phoenix court. A deputy identified the man during a civil standby assignment.

*On Saturday, April 8, a Fountain Hills woman reported finding fraudulent charges on her credit card.

*On Tuesday, April 11, a Fountain Hills woman allegedly struck her father in the face causing injury. She was transported for a psychological evaluation.
