Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a report of screaming from a neighbor arrested a man with a Florida address on a domestic violence/assault charge on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

A neighbor called to report neighbors living in an above unit were arguing and there was screaming.

The victim told deputies she and her boyfriend had been arguing and he grabbed her face, causing injury to her lip.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a report of screaming from a neighbor arrested a man with a Florida address on a domestic violence/assault charge on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

A neighbor called to report neighbors living in an above unit were arguing and there was screaming.

The victim told deputies she and her boyfriend had been arguing and he grabbed her face, causing injury to her lip.

The suspect told deputies he had been trying to calm the woman when he touched her.

The man was booked into jail on charges of assault causing injury and disorderly conduct/noise. The woman was also cited for disorderly conduct/noise.

*On Tuesday, Feb. 21, deputies arrested a Fountain Hills man for assault with intent to injure following an incident in the 12000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard. The couple had been arguing about the woman leaving for her home in Phoenix and taking the couple’s child. The suspect blocked her exit and allegedly pushed her down and sat on her. He attempted to leave the scene before deputies arrived.

*On Wednesday, Feb. 22, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for an outstanding warrant on charges of possession of marijuana.

*On Thursday, Feb. 16, a Fountain Hills woman reported she was the victim of fraud when a man she met on the Internet attempted to get her to give him $75,000. After they met he had been working overseas and sent her a check for $12 million he asked her to hold for safekeeping, which she placed in a safety deposit box. He continued to ask her for money until she became suspicious of fraud.

*On Friday, Feb. 17, a Rio Verde man reported his credit card number was used by an unknown person. The charge was stopped before the bank processed it.

*On Friday, Feb. 17, an Oregon woman reported furniture was missing from her father’s residence in Fountain Hills. The property went missing after he was relocated within a care home. The missing property is valued at $2,500.

*On Monday, Feb. 20, a woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Desert Vista Park where she had gone to register her kids for soccer. There was no sign of forced entry.

*On Saturday, Feb. 18, a Cave Creek woman reported someone slashed a tire on her vehicle while it was parked at Fountain Hills High School.

*On Saturday, Feb. 18, and on Sunday, Feb. 19, deputies received separate reports of cluster mailbox units being damaged. One incident was in the 16000 block of Arrow Drive and the second was in the 10000 block of Saguaro Boulevard. The incidents were both reported to the U.S. Postal Service.

*On Sunday, Feb. 19, a Peoria, Ariz. man was stopped for speeding in Fountain Hills and was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

*On Friday, Feb. 17, a Fountain Hills woman reported damage to her vehicle while it was parked in the 13000 block of Cambria Drive.

*On Thursday, Feb. 16, a Scottsdale man was cited for criminal speed while traveling on McDowell Mountain Road. He was allegedly traveling 80 miles per hour where the speed limit is 45. He was also cited for passing in a No Passing zone and not having a valid driver license.

*On Thursday, Feb. 16, an employee for Shea Homes working at Trilogy Verde River reported an iPad stolen from a home site in the 17000 block of Wooley Way.

*On Thursday, Feb. 16, a Fountain Hills woman reported her personal information was used to complete credit card application between November 2016 and February 2017.
