Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a report of a fight on Friday, March 3, arrested a Mesa man on several domestic violence related charges.

The suspect arrived at the home of his former girlfriend and got into a verbal confrontation with her son on the driveway of their home.

The son said there was an order prohibiting his trespassing.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a report of a fight on Friday, March 3, arrested a Mesa man on several domestic violence related charges.

The suspect arrived at the home of his former girlfriend and got into a verbal confrontation with her son on the driveway of their home.

The son said there was an order prohibiting his trespassing.

The suspect was disruptive and arguing with deputies as they tried to question him.

He was cited for domestic violence disorderly conduct, threats and trespassing. A DUI charge is pending lab results.

*On Monday, Feb. 13, a Mesa woman working at the Fountain Hills Denny’s restaurant reported someone had stolen her order ticket book with cash and receipts as well as tips, about $200 in value.

*On Thursday, Feb. 23, a Mesa woman was stopped for a traffic violation and was found to be driving without a valid driver’s license and no current registration. She was stopped for speeding 52 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35 along Saguaro Boulevard.

*On Friday, Feb. 24, a Fountain Hills man reported an unknown person had used his wife’s personal information to complete a tax return.

*On Saturday, March 25, deputies went to a residence in unincorporated Maricopa County off N. 156th Street and arrested a man on a fugitive warrant out of South Carolina. The man was working as a wrangler at a ranch and was taken into custody without incident.

* On Saturday, Feb. 25, deputies arrested two men for fighting in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. Both parties received minor injuries in the altercation and both were taken into custody for disorderly conduct and fighting.

*On Sunday, Feb. 26, a Scottsdale man was stopped for a traffic violation on Shea Boulevard near Eagle Mountain Parkway and was found to be DUI. During the course of the investigation the man complained of chest pains and was taken to the hospital where he was later cited for DUI. An initial breathalyzer reading indicated a blood alcohol level of .274.

*On Monday, Feb. 27, a Fountain Hills woman reported that someone had used her bank debit card number to make purchases totaling $870.

*On Sunday, March 5, a resident of the 15000 block of E. Lomas Verdes, in the unincorporated Maricopa County area, reported finding two bullet holes in his air conditioning unit. The units were rendered inoperable.

*On Sunday, March 5, four male subjects left the Denny’s restaurant in Fountain Hills without paying a $60 bill for food.

*On Saturday, March 4, a Fountain Hills man reported someone threw a rock through the window of his vehicle causing $800 in damage.

*On Friday, March 3, an Ohio man was cited and released for theft for stealing a metal bear sculpture from the parking lot of a Fountain Hills hotel in the 12000 block of Saguaro Boulevard. The man abandoned the bear in a vacant lot and told deputies it was too heavy to carry further and he went to get his car. He said he took it as a joke. The value of the sculpture is $490.

*On Saturday, Feb. 25, deputies received a report that an Ohio woman was suspected of taking scratch lottery tickets from a convenience store in the 11000 block of Saguaro Boulevard. She was an employee at the time of the theft and is seen on surveillance video taking the tickets.

*On Wednesday, March 1, deputies received a report that someone had stolen a purse from a vehicle parked in the area of Desert Vista and Saxon drives. The victim reported bank cards and cash in the purse an estimated value of $92.

*On Sunday, Feb. 26, a woman reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle parked in the employee parking area at FireRock Country Club. Cash and bank cards were in the purse.
