Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills received a report on Tuesday, Feb. 14, that an unknown person(s) had caused damage to a commercial building in the 13000 block of La Montana Drive.
The damage was discovered by Fountain Hills fire fighters who were making building safety checks in the area. They noticed damage to sprinkler piping and saw additional damage on the premises.
Deputies were not immediately able to contact the building owner as they live out of state. The property is vacant.

*On Monday, Feb. 13, a Fountain Hills resident reported several items stolen from her garage in the 13000 block of Panorama Drive. The value of the items is estimated at $80.
*On Thursday, Feb. 9, a Fountain Hills woman reported a vintage pay phone saved from a previous family business was stolen from her home in the 13000 block of Panorama Drive. It is valued at $100.
*On Friday, Jan. 27, a Fountain Hills man reported possible fraud with someone using his identity. He was notified that someone had opened a cell phone account in his name and he later received a phone he had not ordered delivered to his address. He also reported a fraudulent charge on his credit card.
