Deputies had responded to a previous incident between the same two people. They have an ongoing dispute related to how the man uses the community laundry room without following rules.

On Friday, Dec. 23, Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills responded to a reported assault in the 17000 block of Calle Del Oro.
A Fountain Hills woman claimed her neighbor had grabbed her by the arm and was pushed. The man said the woman had used pepper spray on his face.
Deputies had responded to a previous incident between the same two people. They have an ongoing dispute related to how the man uses the community laundry room without following rules.
In this case an argument began after the woman threw the man’s key across the parking lot toward him after he left it in the laundry room door.
The woman talked with deputies through her closed screen door, saying she would not let them in or come outside to talk because she does not trust them.
Deputies determined there was no clear victim in this incident and wrote no citations.
*On Thursday, Dec. 22, deputies received a report from a Fountain Hills man that another man had removed a tool box and its contents valued at $50 from his property in the 14000 block of Sherwood Drive.
On Tuesday, Dec. 20, a Fountain Hills woman reported her home in the 16000 block of Keota Drive had been burglarized. The burglars forced open the front door to the home and removed an undetermined amount of personal property including jewelry.
*On Tuesday, Dec. 20, a Queen Creek man was arrested when he was found in possession of checks that had been stolen from his Fountain Hills home. Deputies were called to the bank after the suspect attempted to cash one of the stolen checks. The son faces charges of forgery, fraud, theft and trespassing.
*On Friday, Dec. 23, deputies were called for a reported assault in the 16000 block of El Lago Boulevard. A Scottsdale man allegedly bit the finger of a Fountain Hills man, fracturing the finger. The man went to the hospital for treatment.
*On Monday, Dec. 26, a Rio Verde woman was cited and released for extreme DUI (.20 plus BAC) following a single vehicle accident a Medelice Lane and Four Peaks Boulevard in Rio Verde. The woman drove through the intersection and struck a tree. She was not seriously injured.
*On Monday, Dec. 26, deputies received a report that someone had used rocks to smash the windows of a house under construction in the 28000 block of N. 165th Street in Maricopa County. Damage is estimated at $3,000.
*On Friday, Dec. 23, a Mesa man was stopped for erratic driving on Shea Boulevard near Saguaro Boulevard. He was found to be driving under the influence and was arrested for extreme DUI (.179 BAC) and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
*On Thursday, Dec. 22, a worker at the Park Place construction site was treated and transported to the hospital after a wooden forming tower fell, striking him in the leg.
*On Tuesday, Dec. 20, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for extreme DUI (.174 BAC) after he was stopped for erratic driving near Shea and Palisades boulevards.
*On Saturday, Dec. 3, a Fountain Hills man reported to deputies that someone had used his identification information to open 20 different bank accounts. It was discovered when the man was notified by the bank that some of the accounts were being closed. He did not have an account at that bank.
*On Wednesday, Dec. 28, a Fountain Hills man reported that someone had burglarized his vehicle parked in the 15000 block of Palomino Boulevard. Personal items and ID were taken with an estimated value of $1,250.
*On Wednesday, Dec. 28, deputies received a report from the Denny’s restaurant in Fountain Hills that two people left the restaurant without paying their bill for $25.
