Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a fight between two men at a Fountain Hills residence on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

A man returned home with his sister to find their mother’s boyfriend at the house, who had been drinking.

The son told the older man he was not supposed to be there when his mother wasn’t and told him to leave. The older man refused to leave and the physical altercation began.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a fight between two men at a Fountain Hills residence on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

A man returned home with his sister to find their mother’s boyfriend at the house, who had been drinking.

The son told the older man he was not supposed to be there when his mother wasn’t and told him to leave. The older man refused to leave and the physical altercation began.

The older man was treated by fire department paramedics and taken to the hospital. Deputies reported he had been drinking and was unable to stay focused to make a statement about the incident.

The man was also in Sheriff’s custody and on a work release program from jail. Deputies contacted his work release case worker and were told the man should have been at work and not in Fountain Hills.

*On Tuesday, Jan. 9, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for criminal trespass at a residence in the 15000 block of Brodiea Drive. The woman who reported the trespass to deputies is watching the home for her parents who are out of town, and the suspect is her brother. He forced his way into the house when he was told he could not stay there while the parents were away. The report was forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for consideration of charges.

*On Wednesday, Jan. 10, a Fountain Hills man was arrested following a disturbance in the 15000 block of Stardust Drive. The man was apparently looking for a girl and was arguing with her father and fled when deputies arrived. He was located in a nearby yard. The suspect complained of an asthma attack and made suicidal statements and deputies asked the fire department to take him to the hospital to be checked out. The man attempted to flee from the emergency room and was taken into custody by deputies and booked into the county jail.

*On Wednesday, Jan. 10, a Fountain Hills man reported someone used his personal identification information to open a fraudulent credit card account.

*On Thursday, Jan. 11, deputies received two more reports from people who had their tires slashed. One vehicle was parked in the 14000 block of Sherwood Drive and the second in the 14000 block of Saguaro Boulevard.

*On Thursday, Jan. 11, deputies received a report that someone had scratched and damaged a vehicle parked in a car lot in the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd.
