Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Phoenix woman on an outstanding warrant from the Fountain Hills Municipal Court on Monday, Nov. 21.

Deputies responded to a report of a person in the traffic median near Palisades and El Lago Boulevards where they found the woman. She was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant.

Deputies also discovered that she was an investigative lead in an incident that took place at McDowell Mountain Park involving criminal damage and theft of a means of transportation (vehicle).

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Phoenix woman on an outstanding warrant from the Fountain Hills Municipal Court on Monday, Nov. 21.

Deputies responded to a report of a person in the traffic median near Palisades and El Lago Boulevards where they found the woman. She was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant.

Deputies also discovered that she was an investigative lead in an incident that took place at McDowell Mountain Park involving criminal damage and theft of a means of transportation (vehicle).

*On Tuesday, Nov. 22, a Fountain Hills woman reported that her stepson had knocked at the front door of her home in the 12000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard, and then moved around to the rear of the house when she did not answer the door. He left the scene when he saw that she was as home. Deputies had told the man not to return to the house after a previous incident involving his father. The information has been forwarded to the town prosecutor to review for charges.

*On Sunday, Nov. 20, representatives at the Ridgeview Apartments in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard reported pool furniture had been stolen from the property.

*On Tuesday, Nov. 22, deputies received a report from Paul’s Ace hardware in Fountain Hills that a juvenile male suspect had shoplifted merchandise valued at $160.

*On Tuesday, Nov. 22, sheriff’s deputies took custody of a Phoenix woman who had been arrested by Fort McDowell Police. She had an outstanding warrant from a Glendale justice court for driving with a suspended license.

*On Tuesday, Nov. 22, a Fountain Hills man was cited for driving a vehicle with a suspended license plate. The plate was invalid based on mandatory insurance violations.

*On Tuesday, Nov. 22, a Mesa woman was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. She was stopped for speeding.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 23, a Fountain Hills woman was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. She was stopped for speeding.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 23, a Fountain Hills man reported a woman was seen dumping garbage on the hood of his vehicle parked in the 15000 block of Stratford Circle.

*On Thursday, Nov. 24, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for DUI near Fountain Hills Boulevard and Ashbrook Drive after he was stopped for speeding. He was cited for DUI, speeding and having no proof of insurance.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 23, a Fountain Hills couple reported the theft of a diamond ring valued at $300 from their home. The husband had offered to show their apartment to two men who said they were interested in buying a nearby unit but the owner was not home. The two men were in the house about 15 minutes before leaving.

*On Thursday, Nov. 24, the manager of the Fountain Hills Safeway store reported being assaulted by a man as he was closing the store. He said a woman approached and asked to make a purchase. When he said the store was closed she cursed at him and left. A man returned and tried to get in and pushed the manager and tried to force the doors open as he closed. The man was seen leaving in a vehicle with a Florida license plate.

*On Thursday, Nov. 24, a Fountain Hills man was cited for criminal speeding near Glenbrook and Fountain Hills boulevards. The man was allegedly traveling 66 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35.

*On Friday, Nov. 25, deputies responded along with firefighters to a report of a fire in an attached shed at an apartment unit in the 16000 block of Emerald Drive. Two units sustained water damage. Firefighters told deputies they believe the fire started with a water heater.

*On Saturday, Nov. 26, a Mesa man was stopped for speeding near Fountain Hills and Saguaro boulevards and was found to be driving with a suspended license.

*On Sunday, Nov. 27, a resident of the 14000 block of Ibsen Drive reported someone broke the window of their vehicle and stole several items from the vehicle.

*On Sunday, Nov. 27, deputies received a report that someone had stolen tools from two different pickup trucks parked in the 16000 block of Almont Drive.
