Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a report on Monday, June 27, that someone had stolen a swimming pool cleaner from a residence in the 19000 block of Alondra Way in Rio Verde.

The homeowner is gone for the summer and had left a rear gate to a fenced yard accessible for landscapers and pool service personnel.

In was in fact the swimming pool maintenance person who reported the cleaner missing.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a report on Monday, June 27, that someone had stolen a swimming pool cleaner from a residence in the 19000 block of Alondra Way in Rio Verde.

The homeowner is gone for the summer and had left a rear gate to a fenced yard accessible for landscapers and pool service personnel.

In was in fact the swimming pool maintenance person who reported the cleaner missing.

The cleaning equipment is valued at $400.

*On Monday, June 27, a Fountain Hills man who was stopped for speeding on Shea Boulevard near Eagle Mountain Parkway was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was cited and released.

*On Monday, June 20, a resident of the 14000 block of Lone Mountain Road in Maricopa County reported a neighbor had violated a court order against harassment.

*On Monday, June 27, deputies investigated a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Saguaro and Grande boulevards. A motorist making a turn from Grande to northbound Saguaro collided with the second vehicle traveling on Saguaro. The driver making turn told deputies she was confused by the construction barricades in the area and turned into the wrong lane.

*On Tuesday, June 28, a Fountain Hills man reported damage to his vehicle that was parked in a driveway in the 16000 block of Aspen Drive. A taillight was broken and the owner estimated $200 to repair it.
