On Monday, July 18, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a report someone had broken into a vehicle and stole items.

The vehicle was parked in the 14000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard and the suspect damaged a lift latch to enter the vehicle. They removed a blue metal and plastic dolly valued at $50.

*On Tuesday, July 19, deputies were called to the Radio Shack in the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard. Employees reported a male subject entered the store, severed a display cable and left the store with headphones valued at $150. A suspect was identified from the license plate of the vehicle he left in.

On Monday, July 18, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a report someone had broken into a vehicle and stole items.

The vehicle was parked in the 14000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard and the suspect damaged a lift latch to enter the vehicle. They removed a blue metal and plastic dolly valued at $50.

*On Tuesday, July 19, deputies were called to the Radio Shack in the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard. Employees reported a male subject entered the store, severed a display cable and left the store with headphones valued at $150. A suspect was identified from the license plate of the vehicle he left in.

*On Sunday, July 17, a Fountain Hills resident reported someone punctured the tire of a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive.

*On Tuesday, July 19, a Fountain Hills woman reported receiving a threatening e-mail. The message said he was hired to kill her, but would spare her life if she paid $8,000.

*On Tuesday, July 19, a Phoenix woman reported receiving suspicious, threatening messages from a Fountain Hills man.

*On Wednesday, July 20, a resident of the 16000 block of Almont Drive reported someone had broken into his vehicle parked at his residence and removed fireworks. The man said he was alerted when he heard the fireworks being set off. He saw two unidentified male subjects running from the area.

*On Tuesday, July 19, a Fountain Hills woman reported she responded to an e-mail she thought was coming from her bank and provided personal identification information. She had notified the bank of potential fraud.

*On Monday, July 18, a resident of the 17000 block of Cascade Drive reported someone had broken into his vehicle and removed $50 cash. The vehicle was parked on the driveway.

*On Wednesday, July 20, a Fountain Hills man reported a handgun missing from his residence in the 16000 block of Trevino Drive. The gun has been missing since late April.

*On Wednesday, July 20, a Fountain Hills man reported a neighbor in the 15000 block of Vista Drive has been stealing water from another neighbor who is gone for the summer.

*On Saturday, July 23, Sheriff’s deputies responded with Fountain Hills Fire Department to a reported residential structure fire in the 15000 block of Thistle Drive. People at the house had a smoker operating under a tree and the tree caught fire, extending to the residence. There were no injuries and damage was minimal.

*On Saturday, July 23, a deputy stopped a Mesa woman for speeding on Saguaro Boulevard near Monterey Drive. The woman was cited for speeding, failure to carry registration, no driver license in her possession and no valid driver license.

*On Saturday, July 23, deputies stopped a Phoenix man for criminal speed on Shea Boulevard. He was traveling 77 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50.

On Tuesday, July 19, a resident of the 14000 block of Sussex Place reported someone had stolen personal items from his truck parked on the driveway. A black duffel bag was missing that contained a handgun case and ammunition. The handgun was not in the case.

*On Friday, July 22, deputies received a report from the Four Sons convenience market and gas station that someone had removed $4,950 in cash from filing cabinet drawers in an office. A male subject was seen near the office and he left after purchasing some water.

*On Thursday, July 21, a Fountain Hills man reported identity theft when someone used his identification to open multiple credit accounts.

*On Thursday, July 21, CVS pharmacy reported a male subject had shoplifted 12 electronic toothbrushes from the store.

*On Wednesday, July 20, deputies responded to a report of a dead body in the Sycamore Creek area off the Beeline Highway at the Bush Highway. Several people in the area reported finding the body on fire. Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the incident.
