Deputies received a call from a woman about a prowler attempting to get into the house through an upstairs door.
When deputies arrived they located a male subject on the property who was identified as the brother of the woman living at the house.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man for disorderly conduct and possession of prescription drugs outside a home in the 16000 block of Nicklaus Drive on Thursday, June 9.
Deputies received a call from a woman about a prowler attempting to get into the house through an upstairs door.
When deputies arrived they located a male subject on the property who was identified as the brother of the woman living at the house.
The woman told deputies her brother had been kicked out several weeks ago and had since attempted to break in on other occasions.
The suspect was booked into Fourth Ave. Jail in Phoenix.
*On Saturday, June 4, a Fountain Hills man reported he was notified that someone had attempted to use his Social Security number to open a cellular phone account.
*On Monday, June 6, a Fountain Hills woman reported her ex-boyfriend had thrown a water bottle at her striking her as she sat in her vehicle. There were no witnesses and the parties gave conflicting statements. No charges were initiated.
*On Sunday, June 5, a Fountain Hills man was stopped by deputies for speeding on Saguaro Boulevard and it was discovered he had drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. He was cited for speeding. Drug charges are pending lab analysis.
*On Monday, June 6, deputies responded to a collision at Palisades and Golden Eagle boulevards. A Rural/Metro vehicle responding to a house fire was traveling through the intersection without lights and siren and was struck by a motorist making a turn off Golden Eagle. There were no injuries.
*On Wednesday, June 8, a Fountain Hills man reported his 14-year-old daughter had been receiving harassing text messages from a suspect identifying himself as “Michael” in his messages and saying he was from California.
*On Monday, June 6, a Fountain Hills woman reported her brother’s ex-girlfriend took his dog and will not return it. Case is pending follow-up by deputy with alleged suspect.
*On Thursday, June 9, a landscaping company reported tools were taken from a vehicle parked near Rio Verde Drive and Forest Road. There was damage to a window estimated at $500 and tools were valued at $100.
*On Friday, June 10, deputies stopped a Snowflake woman for a mechanical violation, light out, and found that her driver license was suspended. She was cited and released with a passenger with valid license driving.
*On Wednesday, June 1, deputies received a report of a motorcycle down on Shea Boulevard near Monterey Drive at about midnight. The woman operating the motorcycle told deputies she swerved to avoid an animal in the roadway when she struck the median curb and crashed her bike. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
*On Saturday, June 11, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had stolen a black bag and a handgun from his vehicle that was in a parking lot in the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard. Items were valued at $1,200.
*On Saturday, June 11, a Bashas’ grocery store employee detained a male subject for shoplifting $3 worth of snack cakes. The man admitted to taking the items and also said he had stolen at the store previously and not caught. He was booked into jail.
*On Sunday, June 12, a Fort McDowell man was arrested for DUI following a single vehicle crash on Saguaro Boulevard near Colony Drive. The driver told deputies he fell asleep and went into the median and struck a palm tree and street sign.
*On Sunday, June 12, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had taken $100 cash from his wallet that was left in his unlocked vehicle parked in the 16000 block of Palisades Boulevard.
*On Sunday, June 12, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone had struck her mailbox in the 16000 block of Cholla Drive causing $200 in damage.
