Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills responded to a report of a disruptive neighbor at an apartment in the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive on Thursday, Dec. 10.

A couple reported that a woman living next door, who was also a tenant of theirs, was yelling and using abusive language at all hours of day and night.

The woman was cited by deputies for disorderly conduct. However, deputies were called back to the address later after the woman allegedly assaulted the male complainant.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills responded to a report of a disruptive neighbor at an apartment in the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive on Thursday, Dec. 10.

A couple reported that a woman living next door, who was also a tenant of theirs, was yelling and using abusive language at all hours of day and night.

The woman was cited by deputies for disorderly conduct. However, deputies were called back to the address later after the woman allegedly assaulted the male complainant.

Assault charges are pending.

*On Saturday, Nov. 28, deputies investigated a collision on Grande Boulevard near Arrowhead Drive. One driver and witnesses reported a vehicle driving erratically westbound on Grande. The man reportedly crossed the center line several times before colliding nearly head on with a vehicle traveling east. The man could not tell deputies what happened. He was cited for extreme DUI, with a blood alcohol level exceeding .20. He was also taken to the hospital.

*On Friday, Nov. 27, deputies were called to the scene of an accident on Shea Boulevard at Palisades Boulevard. A westbound motorist lost control and struck a wall before careening through the intersection striking another vehicle and stopping on the south side on Palisades Boulevard. There were no injuries.

*On Monday, Dec. 7, deputies investigated a rear-end collision on Shea Boulevard near Arista Lane. A woman told deputies she stopped quickly when her dog jumped from the vehicle. A second car behind her was able to stop short of hitting her, but a third car collided with the second. The dog returned to the vehicle it jumped from, and no one was injured.

*On Tuesday, Dec. 1, a Fountain Hills woman was arrested for DUI after she struck several barricades in the intersection at Palisades and Palomino boulevards. Deputies found the woman still in her vehicle attempting to start it. Charges are pending lab testing.

*A resident of the 15000 block of Cavedale Drive in Maricopa County reported someone broke into his home and ransacked the place between Wednesday, Dec. 2, and Dec. 4. Suspects removed numerous items including electronics, furniture, appliances, a handgun and cash.

*On Friday, Dec. 4, deputies responded with Fountain Hills Fire Department to a report of smoke in an apartment in the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive. Firefighters found a dust cloth against the lightbulb of a ceiling fan was smoldering and caught fire. There was no fire or water damage. Firefighters left a small hole in the ceiling where they checked to see if the fire had extended into the ceiling structure.

*On Saturday, Dec. 5, deputies were called to a two-vehicle accident at Saguaro Boulevard and Panorama Drive. The two vehicles were side by side at the traffic light. When they pulled away the vehicle in the inside lane moved right, striking the vehicle in the outside lane. A passenger was taken to the hospital and the driver was cited for failure to control his vehicle to avoid a collision.

*On Monday, Dec. 7, a dog grooming business in the 12000 block of Saguaro Boulevard reported someone had taken a cash box from the business with a small amount of cash and checks.

*On Friday, Dec. 4, security personnel at the Fountain Hills Target store reported a shoplifter removed merchandise valued at $1,028 from the store. The suspect pushed a cart out a rear fire exit.

*On Tuesday, Dec. 8, deputies made a traffic stop on a man after he was seen drifting across traffic lanes on Shea Boulevard. The man was believed to be under the influence. Charges are pending lab testing.

*On Tuesday, Dec. 8, a resident of the 14000 block of Springfield Way reported the theft of two laser light projectors from their holiday lighting display. They were valued at $40 each. On Friday, Dec. 11, deputies received a report of a second such theft of the laser equipment at a residence in the 16000 block of Alamosa drive.

*On Monday, Nov. 30, a Fountain Hills man reported someone using his credit card number to make purchases between Nogales, Ariz. and Phoenix. Charges totaled $20,000.

*On Thursday, Dec. 10, a Phoenix woman was stopped for speeding on Sunridge Drive. She received the speeding citation and was also arrested for driving with a suspended license, no proof on insurance, no current registration and using a suspended license plate.

*On Thursday, Dec. 10, deputies responded to a report of a domestic violence fight in the 16000 block of Nicklaus Drive and filed a criminal damage report for broken furniture.

*On Friday, Dec. 11, deputies received a report of a domestic violence assault in the 15000 block of Stardust Drive. A Fountain Hills woman allegedly assaulted her boyfriend and then attempted to cut herself on the arm. She was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

*On Saturday, Dec. 12, a resident of the 16000 block of Mallard Court reported the theft of a bolo tie valued at $1,000.

*On Saturday, Dec. 12, deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Fountain Hills Boulevard and El Pueblo Boulevard. A vehicle making a left turn from westbound El Pueblo Boulevard to southbound Fountain Hills Boulevard struck a second vehicle traveling south on Fountain Hills. A woman driving the vehicle making the turn reported the southbound vehicle did not have lights on and she did not see it. She was cited for an unsafe lane change.
