Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman on domestic violence related charges at the home of her mother in the 28000 block of N. 148th Street on Thursday, Oct. 29.

Deputies were called because the woman had been at the mother’s house for some time yelling obscenities and pounding on doors trying to get inside.

She was uncooperative with the deputies that took her into custody and continued yelling obscenities until she was taken to jail.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman on domestic violence related charges at the home of her mother in the 28000 block of N. 148th Street on Thursday, Oct. 29.

Deputies were called because the woman had been at the mother’s house for some time yelling obscenities and pounding on doors trying to get inside.

She was uncooperative with the deputies that took her into custody and continued yelling obscenities until she was taken to jail.

*On Monday, Oct. 26, workers arriving at a construction site in the 17200 block of Rio Verde Drive reported a storage box had been broken into and tools valued at $6,700 were stolen.

*On Sunday, Oct. 25, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle into a light pole near Panorama Drive and El Lago Boulevard. They found a rental car that had been abandoned and damage to the pole, owned by Salt River Project. The rental company provided the name of the resident who rented the car and he was cited for failure to control speed to avoid a collision.

*On Friday, Oct. 23, a Fountain Hills man reported his vehicle was damaged with a key while it was parked in the 17000 block of Calle Del Oro.

*On Monday, Oct. 26, deputies responded to a reported Town Code violation with “Slow, children at play” signs in the right of way near Aloe and La Casa drives.

*On Sunday, Oct. 25, a Fountain Hills woman reported harassment when someone created a fictional account for her with an on-line dating service. It resulted in her receiving about 30 unsolicited text messages. She suspects her estranged husband is responsible.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 20, a teacher at Fountain Hills Middle School reported someone had removed $33 from her purse. A student is suspected.

*On Monday, Oct. 26, an elderly woman living in the 15000 block of Echo Hill Drive reported jewelry stolen.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 27, deputies investigated a two vehicle collision on Fountain Hills Boulevard at a parking lot drive just south of Palisades Boulevard. A vehicle traveling north on Fountain Hills Boulevard collided with a car pulling from the parking lot drive of the Safeway shopping center. The driver of the car coming from the drive told deputies a third vehicle turning into the parking lot obstructed her view. She was cited for failure to yield from a driveway.

*On Tuesday, Oct. 27, a Connecticut man called MCSO to report someone had used his credit card information to reserve a room at a Fountain Hills hotel for $129.

*On Thursday, Oct. 29, a Fountain Hills man working at the Circle K at Saguaro and Shea reported a woman came into the store and asked to borrow a phone charger, which he allowed her to do and he went back to work. He later discovered the woman had removed $200 from his wallet that was on the counter.

*On Thursday, Oct. 29, a man was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend at a residence in the 14000 block of Mark Lane in Maricopa County.

*On Monday, Oct. 26, deputies received a report that someone had stolen a cell phone valued at $450, from the bleacher area of the football field at the Fountain Hills Middle School. The student victim was running laps for PE class when the phone was stolen.

*On Friday, Oct. 30, a 75-year-old woman was cited for criminal speed on Saguaro Boulevard near Colony Drive. She was reported traveling 51 miles per hour where the posted limit was 30. She also had no driver license in her possession.

*On Friday, Oct. 30, a resident of the 17000 block of Malta Drive reported eggs and toilet paper were tossed at his residence.

*On Saturday, Oct. 31, deputies responded with firefighters to a vehicle fire at a residence in the 17000 block of Salida Drive. The vehicle, which had been driven about a half hour earlier, was engulfed in flames. It was about 20 feet from the residence, but there was no extension to the structure. The cause is undetermined, although not suspicious.

*On Saturday, Oct. 31, a Fountain Hills man reported he had been punched in the face by a man he had just had dinner with. They had been arguing when they stepped outside to smoke when the alleged assault took place. Deputies say the victim had been drinking and was not clear just what happened. Deputies interviewed the alleged assailant, but took no action.

*On Sunday, Nov. 1, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had come to his home to check out a vehicle for sale and took the car to have a mechanic look at it. The prospective buyer and the vehicle never returned.

*Fountain Hills Fire Department reported that on Friday, Oct. 30, they were called to a two vehicle accident at Fountain Hills Boulevard and Segundo Drive. There were four patients as a result of the accident one of whom was seriously injured. They were taken by ground ambulance to a Scottsdale trauma center.
