Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Fountain Hills woman after she had an altercation with her husband on Sunday, Nov. 21.
Deputies responded after receiving a report that the woman was hitting her husband and slamming the door in his face.
The woman accused her husband of cheating on her after finding property belonging to another woman in their home.
The woman was arrested for domestic violence disorderly conduct and domestic violence assault.
* On Wednesday, Nov. 26, deputies arrested a Fountain Hills juvenile male for possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies responded to the area of Oasis and Salida drives after receiving a report of two suspicious males in the area. In investigating the situation one male was found in possession of a glass smoking pipe. The second man was released.
* On Friday, Nov. 21, deputies were called to the Fry’s supermarket on Shea Boulevard after a male subject reportedly removed a large quantity of liquor from the store. Surveillance video showed the suspect, and he is believed to be the same subject in a similar shoplifting at the store on Nov. 8. In both instances combined the value of the liquor was more than $1,000. It is believed there was an accomplice who helped the suspect load the liquor into a vehicle before leaving the scene.
*On Sunday, Nov. 23, two female subjects, ages 18 and 17, were stopped as they attempted to shoplift a bottle of vodka valued at $33 from the Fountain Hills Bashas’ store.
*On Sunday, Nov. 23, an unidentified male removed a bottle of liquor valued at $29 from the Fountain Hills Safeway store without paying.
*On Sunday, Nov. 23, deputies received a report from a Fountain Hills man that his ex-wife was refusing to allow him to visit his daughter, with whom they have joint custody.
*On Saturday, Nov. 22, a juvenile male Phoenix resident, age 15, was stopped driving a vehicle on Rio Verde Drive at a speed of 79 miles per hour, where the speed limit is 50.
