The girl’s father had flagged down Scottsdale Police near 110th Street and Shea Boulevard and asked for help getting his daughter to the hospital. It was determined her blood alcohol level exceeded .20. She was treated at the hospital.
Deputies learned that she was at a party in Fountain Hills sponsored by a church and determined that a group of uninvited youth had gone to the home and were drinking vodka. An adult at the home confiscated the liquor and the uninvited guests departed.

*On Monday, Dec. 8, deputies responded to a hit and run reported at the median in front of the All-American Sports Bar and Grill at 5:56 a.m. Tire marks indicated that a vehicle had rolled onto the median, damaged a chain link fence and continued away from the scene. The vehicle was discovered nearby, double parked and abandoned, with the tags removed. Deputies were able to identify the owner through the vehicle’s contents to follow up.
On Thursday, Dec. 11, between 6:45 and 8 p.m. a vehicle in the McDowell Mountain Elementary School parking lot was broken into. Items valued at $2,009 were reported as missing from the vehicle.
*On Friday, Dec. 12, deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision with injuries at the intersection of Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards. Deputies found a pickup truck had collided with another vehicle, as well as a nearby palm tree. The driver of the second vehicle reported that the pickup truck had pulled up behind their car at a stop light and then continued forward, tires spinning, pushing into their car.
When the driver of the second vehicle pulled away, the truck continued forward, causing more damage to the second vehicle, and eventually colliding with the tree. Following medical treatment, it was determined that the driver of the pickup truck had experienced a medical episode apparently causing the accident.
*On Tuesday, Dec. 9, deputies investigated an accident at Shea Boulevard and Eagle Mountain Parkway. A vehicle making a left turn from Eagle Mountain was struck by vehicle traveling east on Shea. The eastbound driver acknowledged running the red light and striking the other vehicle.
*On Saturday, Dec. 13, officials with a condominium homeowners association reported someone had stolen three metal spiral Christmas trees from a neighborhood display at Fountain Hills Boulevard and Keith McMahan Drive. The property has an estimated value of $300.
*On Monday, Dec. 15, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had used his identification and Social Security number to open a bank account in Texas.
*On Monday, Dec. 15, a driver collided with a light pole on Panorama Drive near Vista Del Lago. The motorist said he had mechanical trouble and lost control of his vehicle. He was cited for speed not reasonable.
*On Monday, Dec. 15, two vehicles collided at Palisades Boulevard and La Montana Drive. A motorist southbound on La Montana reportedly did not stop for the stop sign and collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound on Palisades. The southbound driver was cited.
*On Tuesday, Dec. 16, a Phoenix man was arrested after he was stopped traveling up to 100 miles per hour on Shea Boulevard. He was driving on a suspended license. While deputies were investigating a passenger in the vehicle was seen making a phone call and then there was a reported accident with a fatality at Shea Boulevard and the 101. Deputies identified the passenger they had detained as the person who made that accident report and she was cited for making a false report and also faces charges for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia that were found in the vehicle.
*On Sunday, Dec. 7, deputies were called to a vehicle collision on McDowell Mountain Road at about 10 p.m. A vehicle traveling north collided with the rear of a trailer on a vehicle that had stopped but remained partially in the roadway. A witness said he was trying to flag traffic using the light from a cell phone. One man received minor injuries in the accident.
*On Sunday, Dec. 14, an unidentified male subject was seen removing liquor valued at $600 from the Safeway store.
*On Monday, Dec. 15, deputies made seven traffic stops on Shea Boulevard of people speeding in the construction zone. The speed limit in the area is 25 miles per hour and the motorists were found to be traveling between 50 and 58 miles per hour.
*On Tuesday, Dec. 16, a business on Laser Drive reported possibly fraudulent purchases from out of state buyers. Personnel reported two instances of questionable billing addresses on items that were ordered.
*On Thursday, Dec. 18, the School Resource Officer received a report of a 15-year-old male illegally riding a motorcycle to school. The youth was seen running a stop sign and was questioned. His mother was cited for allowing an underage youth to operate a vehicle and he was cited for failing to stop, no license and no proof of insurance.
*On Friday, Dec. 19, deputies investigated an accident on Sunridge Drive near Shadow Canyon. A southbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and the driver lost control after striking the curb. The vehicle struck a dry fire hydrant and came to stop in a culvert. There were no injuries.
*On Friday, Dec. 19, a resident of the 17000 block of Calle Del Oro reported someone broke into their vehicle and took cash, bank cards and prescription drugs from her purse.
*On Saturday, Dec. 20, a motorcyclist collided with a van on Palisades Boulevard at Sunburst Drive. The cyclist said the van pulled in front of him and he had no time to stop. The cyclist was cited for failure to control his vehicle to avoid a collision.
*On Sunday, Dec. 21, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had stolen three pair of sunglasses with a total value of $625 from his unsecured vehicle parked in his apartment parking lot in the 12000 block of La Montana.
