Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a reported burglary at a home in the 14000 block of Blackfoot Drive on Sunday, Nov. 16.

The resident reported property valued at $1,200 was taken from the home including three bicycles and fishing equipment.

*On Sunday, Nov. 16, a Scottsdale man was cited for excessive speed on Rio Verde Drive at 168th Street. Deputies determined the man was traveling 80 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a reported burglary at a home in the 14000 block of Blackfoot Drive on Sunday, Nov. 16.

The resident reported property valued at $1,200 was taken from the home including three bicycles and fishing equipment.

*On Sunday, Nov. 16, a Scottsdale man was cited for excessive speed on Rio Verde Drive at 168th Street. Deputies determined the man was traveling 80 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50.

*On Saturday, Nov. 15, a Scottsdale man was found to be traveling 69 miles per hour on McDowell Mountain Road where the speed limit is 45. He was cited for criminal speed.

*On Monday, Nov. 17, deputies were called to a single vehicle, non-injury accident on Palisades Boulevard near Sunflower. A vehicle traveling northbound on the frontage road crossed over the frontage median into the main northbound lanes, through the center median and into the desert across the south bound lanes. There was extensive damage to the vehicle and median landscaping.

*On Monday, Nov. 17, deputies cited a Maricopa resident for traveling 66 miles per hour on McDowell Mountain Road, where the speed limit is 45.

*On Sunday, Nov. 16, a Gilbert woman who was a vendor for the Fall Festival of Arts and Crafts in Fountain Hills reported someone had stolen three paintings from her booth valued at $1,050.

*On Sunday, Nov. 16, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had entered his vehicle parked in the 15000 block of Bahia Drive and stole six Airsoft rifles valued at $1,657.

*On Tuesday, Nov. 18, deputies investigated a two-vehicle non-injury collision at Palisades and Shea Boulevard. A vehicle southbound on Palisades was making a right turn onto Shea when they were struck by a second vehicle, also making the right turn.

*On Wednesday, Nov. 19, deputies went to the 14000 block of Del Ray Drive to investigate a car into a structure report. A vehicle rolled down a driveway. The vehicle owner was cited for having an invalid driver license.
