A Sheriff’s deputy responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle located it in a marked “no parking” area and questioned the occupants.
Deputies talked with the two Fountain Hills residents in the vehicle and determined they were in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
*On Wednesday, Sept. 24, a Fountain Hills man reported he had discovered a large dent in his vehicle that had been parked on the street in the 16000 block of Glenpoint. The owner estimated damage at $1,000.
*On Monday, Sept. 29, deputies received a report that someone had attempted to change the computer password on a corporate security computer at FireRock Country Club. The security breach was noticed by a technician making a routine analysis of data.
*On Monday, Sept. 29, a woman reported someone had stolen her purse from her vehicle parked in the 12000 block of Saguaro Boulevard near Fountain Park. She reported the purse, bank cards, keys and currency missing.
*On Tuesday, Sept. 30, deputies were called to a vehicle collision at Palisades and Golden Eagle boulevards. A vehicle southbound on Palisades was attempting to pass through the intersection after stopping when she was struck by a vehicle making a left turn from northbound Palisades to westbound Golden Eagle. The driver making the turn was cited for failure to yield.
*On Sunday, Sept. 28, a cab driver stopped for the stop sign at Fountain Hills Boulevard and Ironwood Drive said he was struck from behind by a second driver who drove away from the scene.
*On Saturday, Sept. 27, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone had stolen a handgun from her vehicle parked in the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains.
*On Tuesday, Sept. 30, a resident of the 17000 block of Caliente Drive reported landscape damage in their yard.
*On Friday, Sept. 26, deputies received a report of a loud party in the 15000 block of Redbird Road in Maricopa County. Deputies cited a male juvenile, age 17, for an alcohol violation in hosting the party.
*On Thursday, Sept. 25, a resident of the 15000 block of Zapata Drive reported damage to a rear patio door and a screen. The owner had been away for almost three weeks and noticed the damage upon return. He told deputies landscapers and a pool service had been on the property. It did not appear anyone had entered the residence.
*On Wednesday, Oct. 1, a resident reported someone had placed animal feces on a vehicle parked in the 16000 block of Hamilton Drive.
* On Thursday, Oct. 2, a Fountain Hills resident reported someone had used her identification to open a credit card account.
*On Friday, Oct. 3, a Fountain Hills woman, 21, was arrested for DUI drugs, marijuana.
*On Saturday, Oct. 4, deputies responded to the 14000 block of Dixileta Drive in Maricopa County for a reported domestic violence assault. A woman had been taken to the hospital for injuries received during an argument with her boyfriend. He was not immediately located.
*On Saturday, Oct. 4, a Phoenix man was cited when he was found to be traveling 72 miles per hour on Fountain Hills Boulevard where the speed limit is 45.
*On Saturday, Oct. 4, a Gilbert woman was cited for speeding on McDowell Mountain Road traveling 78 miles per hour where the speed limit is 45.
*On Friday, Oct. 3, deputies received a report that a latch had been broken on a storage unit in the 16000 block of Laser Drive.
*On Saturday, Oct. 4, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for domestic violence criminal damage after he broke a cell phone during an argument with his wife. Deputies responded after a neighbor reported yelling.
*On Saturday, Oct. 4, deputies responded to a criminal damage incident when someone threw a rock through a car window parked in the 16000 block of Parkview Ave.
*On Saturday, Oct. 4, a Tempe man was cited for excessive speed for traveling 72 miles per hour on McDowell Mountain Road where the speed limit is 45.
*On Sunday, Oct. 5, a resident reported that someone had kicked and damaged a metal screen door at a residence in the 16000 block of Almont Drive.
