Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report from a Fountain Hills man about a fight at his girlfriend’s residence in the 15000 block of Carmelita Court on Saturday, June 28.
The man reported he received a call from his girlfriend who was upset about a fight between her father and mother who are separated.
Deputies were told the argument began when the estranged wife arrived at the home and found the father’s girlfriend there.
Deputies said it appeared that the father had been struck and scratched, but he declined to say whether he had been assaulted.
The estranged wife had left the scene before deputies arrived.
*On Friday, June 27, deputies arrested an employee at the Target store in Fountain Hills in connection with a shoplifting incident at the store. Store security alleged that the 16-year-old cashier for the store had helped her boyfriend, a Fountain Hills resident, take $400 in merchandise from the store over several weeks.
*On Saturday, June 28, a woman living in the 13000 block of Westland Road in Maricopa County reported someone had stolen the license plate from her vehicle.
*On Friday, June 20, a Fountain Hills man reported receiving threats via his YouTube video page.
*On Saturday, June 21, a Fountain Hills man reported his 17-year-old son had run away.
*On Wednesday, July 2, a business in the 16000 block of Laser Drive reported someone had stolen from the business an air compressor and tools with a total value of $775.
*On Thursday, July 3, a second business in the 16000 block of Laser Drive reported a burglary in which an air compressor was stolen. The value is approximately $500.
*On Thursday, July 3, deputies investigated a traffic accident at Pinto Drive and Fountain Hills Boulevard. A woman making a left turn from Pinto onto northbound Fountain Hills Boulevard collided with a vehicle traveling south on Fountain Hills. She was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
*On Friday, July 4, a deputy backing his patrol vehicle struck a sign in the median on Saguaro Boulevard at Paul Nordin Parkway.
*On Sunday, July 6, a Fountain Hills man reported his wife missing from the area of Mimosa and Sunflower drives. The woman had been at a party with her daughter and had been asked to leave because she was drinking.
