A Fountain Hills woman contacted Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies on Monday, May 19, saying she believes her daughter was responsible for taking a parcel left outside a residence on Nicklaus Drive on May 8.

The woman said she found a glass bowl in her daughter’s room that did not belong to her.

Deputies contacted the victim who identified the bowl as the item that was to be shipped to her home.

A Fountain Hills woman contacted Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies on Monday, May 19, saying she believes her daughter was responsible for taking a parcel left outside a residence on Nicklaus Drive on May 8.

The woman said she found a glass bowl in her daughter’s room that did not belong to her.

Deputies contacted the victim who identified the bowl as the item that was to be shipped to her home.

The property was returned and the victim was making a decision on whether to press charges against the girl.

*On Monday, May 19, a resident of the 15000 block of Rica Vida way reported the theft of numerous landscape blocks in front of his residence. The victim removed the blocks to reuse them at a new home he is moving to. He said several people made inquiries regarding the blocks during a garage sale. The blocks had a value of $822.

*On Monday, May 19, deputies stopped a Phoenix woman on Saguaro Boulevard after she was observed running through a stop sign. Besides the stop sign violation she was cited for failure to provide identification, suspended vehicle registration and no proof of insurance.

*On Saturday, May 17, deputies cited a man for passing out flyers without a town license permit. Deputies went to the area of Wendover and Montrose drives after receiving a complaint from a resident. The man was located and issued the citation.

*On Thursday, May 8, a Fountain Hills man reported someone used his personal identification to open a credit account at a Mesa Target store.

*On Tuesday, May 20, deputies received a complaint about criminal damage graffiti from the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce. Someone had sprayed lettering on the Chamber office building at Verde River Drive and Palisades Boulevard.

*On Wednesday, May 7, a Fountain Hills woman reported her ex-boyfriend had thrown a plate and damaged her television at her residence in the 16000 block of Carmel Drive.
