A deputy observed the woman’s vehicle travel through two stop signs and speeding before pulling her over.

Deputies report the woman was belligerent and uncooperative and the deputy repeatedly had to tell the woman why she had been stopped.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 24-year-old Fountain Hills woman, citing her on several traffic violations as well as extreme DUI on Saturday, Feb. 22.

A deputy observed the woman’s vehicle travel through two stop signs and speeding before pulling her over.

Deputies report the woman was belligerent and uncooperative and the deputy repeatedly had to tell the woman why she had been stopped.

The woman was arrested for extreme DUI (BAC plus .15), interfering with a judicial proceeding and disobeying a court order as well as citations for failure to stop and speeding.

*On Sunday, Feb. 16, a Glendale man was arrested for excessive speed on Shea Boulevard near Center Drive. The man was observed traveling 70 miles per hour where the speed limit is 45.

*On Tuesday, Feb. 18, deputies investigating a private property traffic accident in a bank parking lot arrested one of those involved for super extreme DUI (BAC plus .20).

*On Wednesday, Feb. 19, a Fountain Hills woman reported her boyfriend had assaulted her by pushing her against a wall and kicking her.

*On Friday, Feb. 14, a Fountain Hills man reported someone was using his Social Security number to rent an apartment.

*On Thursday, Feb. 20, deputies were called to a three-vehicle collision on Saguaro Boulevard at Monterey Drive. Traffic traveling south on Saguaro was slowing to stop for the traffic light when a vehicle collided with the rear of a second and pushing it into a third vehicle.

*On Friday, Feb. 21, a Fountain Hills woman was arrested for shoplifting at the Fountain Hills Target store. She is accused of taking merchandise valued at $44. At the time of her arrest deputies found she was also in possession of drug paraphernalia.

*On Thursday, Feb. 20, a Fountain Hills man reported someone had stolen a moped from him.

*On Saturday, Feb. 22, a Fountain Hills man complained that a neighbor was interfering with the sale of his condominium. Realtors showing the property were consistently confronted by the neighbor with signs and complaints about the property. The seller told deputies he does owe the neighbor money related to repairs on the property, but he cannot pay it back until he sells the condo.

*On Sunday, Feb. 23, a resident of the 13000 block of Coyote Way reported their mailbox had been knocked over.

*On Saturday, Feb. 22, a man reported he believes his sons were abused by their stepfather while at their mother’s home in Fountain Hills. He said the incident resulted in minor injuries to the boys.

*On Monday, Feb. 24, an elderly man living in the 27000 block of N. 154th Street reported he believes he is being defrauded by a woman he met on a dating site. He has given her approximately $100,000.

*On Monday, Feb. 24, deputies received a report from the manager of a liquor store on El Pueblo Blvd. regarding a suspicious circumstance. The manager said he overheard some students say that someone was stealing “hookah” pens from his store and reselling them at the high school. The manager said he could not say for certain whether anything was missing from the store inventory.

*On Friday, Feb. 21, a 12-year-old male juvenile was found in possession of prescription medication that was not his while on campus at Fountain Hills Middle School.

*On Tuesday, Feb. 25, deputies investigated a collision at Saguaro Boulevard and Panorama Drive. A vehicle backed up to allow room for a vehicle making a turn at the intersection and in process backed into a third vehicle.
