The woman was observed driving through a barricade at an emergency scene at Shea and Saguaro boulevards early in the morning.
A deputy was forced to jump out of the way as the woman approached at a high rate of speed. She also reportedly nearly struck firefighters at the scene.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Lake Havasu woman for super extreme DUI and aggravated assault on a Sheriff’s deputy Sunday, Nov. 17.
The woman was observed driving through a barricade at an emergency scene at Shea and Saguaro boulevards early in the morning.
A deputy was forced to jump out of the way as the woman approached at a high rate of speed. She also reportedly nearly struck firefighters at the scene.
As the deputy jumped aside he threw his flashlight into the air and it broke the windshield of the vehicle when it came down, and the woman stopped.
*On Monday, Nov. 4, a Rio Verde man reported someone had stolen a laptop computer valued at $700 from his home in the 18000 block of Buckskin Drive. He had been gone since June 15.
*On Friday, Nov. 8, someone struck a stop sign in the intersection of El Lago Boulevard and La Montana Drive.
*On Saturday, Nov. 9, a Fountain Hills man reported his son was drunk and pounding on the door of his home in the 17000 block of Rand Drive. The son was taken to the hospital but later arrested when he refused to enter a detox program.
*On Tuesday, Nov. 12, a woman reported graffiti on a building in the 13000 block of Verde River Drive.
*On Friday, Nov. 8, deputies investigated a collision near El Lago and Saguaro boulevards. A motorist westbound on El Lago approached a truck that was stopped and appeared to want to make a turn into a driveway. The truck driver waved the motorist past and collided with another vehicle making a turn in front of the truck.
*On Friday, Nov. 1, a Fountain Hills woman was arrested for super extreme DUI during a traffic stop. She was pulled over when a deputy observed her weaving in the traffic lane and traveling very slowly. The woman’s blood alcohol measured greater than .20.
*On Saturday, Nov. 9, a resident reported someone had stolen a wallet from their vehicle. The wallet contained a driver license and several bank and credit cards. Keys, a cellphone and computer case were also stolen. The vehicle was in a parking lot in the 11000 block of Saguaro Boulevard.
*On Sunday, Nov. 10, deputies were called to check on a man walking in traffic. The found him to be extremely intoxicated after drinking at a bar nearby.
*On Sunday, Nov. 3, a resident of the 15000 block of Scorpion Drive reported three large desert plants removed from their yard over the summer. The plants had a total value of $320.
*On Thursday, Nov. 14, a man pulling from a church parking lot near Glenbrook and Fountain Hills boulevards collided with a Sheriff’s patrol car passing on the street.
*On Thursday, Nov. 14, a Fountain Hills man was in violation of a court order when he went to a residence in the 16000 block of Ironwood Drive.
*On Friday, Nov. 15, a San Tan Valley man was arrested for trespassing at a home in the 12000 block of Desert Sage Drive. The man was the ex-husband of the homeowner’s daughter and was also arrested for domestic violence disorderly conduct for pounding on the door.
*On Saturday, Nov. 16, deputies were called after multiple vehicles received tire damage after striking an object in the roadway on Shea Boulevard west of Palisades Boulevard.
*On Sunday, Nov. 17, a Fountain Hills man was arrested for DUI after a traffic stop on Palisades Boulevard and Avenue of the Fountains. The man failed to stop at a stop sign.
*On Sunday, Nov. 17, deputies arrested a Fountain Hills man, age 18, for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was stopped by deputies as a suspect vehicle seen leaving a residence of a reported burglary near Grande and El Pueblo boulevards.
*On Tuesday, Nov. 12, a Fountain Hills man reported the theft of an equipment trailer parked in the parking lot in front of his business in the 16000 block of Parkview Ave.
*On Tuesday, Nov. 5, deputies responding to a report of two men fighting in the 17000 block of Caliente Drive arrested both men on drug and alcohol related charges. Both were cited for underage consumption of alcohol, and one was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
*On Friday, Nov. 15, a Fountain Hills woman reported her ex-son-in-law violated an order of protection by coming to her residence in the 12000 block of Desert Sage.
*On Saturday, Nov. 16, a Fountain Hills man reported his wallet containing between $700 and $800 was stolen after he inadvertently left it on the counter at a convenience store. Video in the store showed a second man picking up the wallet.
*On Saturday, Nov. 16, deputies investigated a single vehicle accident in the 16000 block of Aspen Drive. The driver went off the street and into the front yard of a home causing damage to a brick column and landscaping. The driver said he had swerved to avoid a child riding a skateboard who suddenly came out of a driveway. The child was not injured.
*On Monday, Nov. 19, deputies arrested a Sierra Vista man in Fountain Hills visiting his daughter at a residence in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Boulevard. The two got into an argument after the daughter asked the father to leave when he refused to close the door when he was smoking on the patio of her apartment. The man was arrested for domestic violence disorderly conduct and criminal damage for kicking a door.
*On Saturday, Nov. 16, a resident reported his wallet had been stolen from his unlocked vehicle parked in the 17000 block of Sonoran Way.
*On Tuesday, Nov. 19, deputies received a report that an unidentified male subject had taken electronic devices valued at $900 from the Fountain Hills Target store.
*On Tuesday, Nov. 19, a Fort McDowell man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at the Fountain Hills Municipal Court. A court clerk called deputies when the man appeared to be under the influence of something and was acting irrational.
*On Wednesday, Nov. 20, a Sierra Vista man was arrested after deputies received a report he was causing a disturbance in the area of the Goodwill store on Fountain Hills Boulevard. He was arrested for trespassing, making threats, disorderly conduct and consuming alcohol in public. He was also in violation of a court order related to a previous incident.
*On Wednesday, Nov. 20, a Fountain Hills man and his son were arrested for domestic violence fighting at a residence in the 12000 block of Desert Vista. Deputies responded to the address for a report of a loud argument.
