Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills arrested and cited a Fountain Hills man and woman for disorderly conduct after they got into an argument in a hotel room they were staying in.

Deputies were called by the hotel desk clerk reporting a disturbance from one of their rooms.

Deputies arrived to investigate, finding the couple shouting in the room before deputies could make contact.

Sheriff’s deputies in Fountain Hills arrested and cited a Fountain Hills man and woman for disorderly conduct after they got into an argument in a hotel room they were staying in.

Deputies were called by the hotel desk clerk reporting a disturbance from one of their rooms.

Deputies arrived to investigate, finding the couple shouting in the room before deputies could make contact.

The two said they got into an argument when they returned to the room after spending time in the hotel lounge.

Deputies determined both were intoxicated and booked the man into jail in Phoenix and cited and released the woman.

*On Friday, Aug. 23, a Fountain Hills woman reported the theft of jewelry from her home in the 17000 block of Calle del Flores. She suspects her grandson and his girlfriend. The jewelry is valued at $5,450.

*On Thursday, Sept. 5, a Fountain Hills woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a deputy stopped her in a grocery store parking lot around midnight.

*On Friday, Sept. 6, a deputy following up on a call of an erratic driver arrested a Payson man on drug charges and DUI on Saguaro Boulevard near Tombstone Drive. The deputy located the vehicle and pulled the man over. He said he was returning to Payson and got lost in the neighborhood. He was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI.

*On Monday, Sept. 9, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone had removed a garden hose nozzle from her place of business in the 16000 block of Enterprise Drive.

*On Thursday, Aug. 15, a Fountain Hills resident reported the theft of a diamond bracelet from their home in the 13000 block of Ryan Drive. The bracelet, valued at $2,000 was last seen on July 17.

*On Saturday, Sept. 7, deputies cited a Fountain Hills woman following a single vehicle accident at Saguaro Boulevard and Panorama Drive. The woman was making a right turn at the intersection and collided with a tree. She was cited for violating driving restrictions on her license, failure to control speed to avoid a collision, suspended license plates, no insurance, and not turning safely.

*On Sunday, Sept. 8, a deputy cited a man who was found lying on the sidewalk in front of the Circle K store at Saguaro and Shea boulevards. The man was extremely disoriented and intoxicated and was taken to the hospital for evaluation. He was cited for consuming alcohol on private/public property and third degree trespassing.

*On Wednesday, Sept. 11, the same man called deputies because he was too intoxicated to walk home from a nearby bar. A deputy found the man with a blood alcohol level of .30 with a preliminary test, nearly four times the legal limit for driving. A report was forwarded to the state department of liquor control regarding the bar serving an obviously intoxicated person.

*On Wednesday, Sept. 11, deputies cited a 77-year-old Fountain Hills man for shoplifting $24 in groceries from the Safeway store. The man had $140 in his wallet at the time of the incident. He said he was going to get his wallet from his vehicle when he was stopped by an employee in the parking lot with the merchandise.

*On Wednesday, Sept. 11, a Fountain Hills woman struck a stop sign while making a turn from La Montana Drive to Palisades Boulevard. She told deputies she was blinded by the sun as she made the turn causing her to strike the sign.

*On Thursday, Sept. 12 deputies received a report of a stolen television from a home in the 26000 block of Palo Fiero Drive in Tonto Verde. The burglary was reported by a house sitter for the owner. There was no sign of forced entry.

*On Friday, Sept. 13, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone was using her identity for credit card charges in Chicago.

*On Friday, Sept. 13, deputies investigated a two-vehicle collision at Saguaro Boulevard and Colony Drive. A vehicle traveling north on Saguaro struck the rear of a vehicle being pulled by a tow truck as it attempted to make a left turn onto Saguaro. The tow truck driver was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign and not having proof of insurance.
