Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 11000 block of Saguaro Boulevard on April 17 and cited two women in connection with the incident.

During questioning by deputies the two women became belligerent and uncooperative.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 11000 block of Saguaro Boulevard on April 17 and cited two women in connection with the incident.

During questioning by deputies the two women became belligerent and uncooperative.

The two women were both cited for disorderly conduct and false reporting to law enforcement. Charges have been submitted to prosecutors for consideration.

*On Wednesday, April 3, a Scottsdale woman was arrested for extreme DUI during a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard near Eagle Mountain Parkway. A deputy stopped the woman when he observed her driving erratically.

*On Sunday, April 14, a woman reported she had a fight with her husband and she was fearful for her safety. The couple lives in the 26000 block of Palo Fiero Drive in Maricopa County. The woman reported her husband had been drinking and arguing and there were guns in the house. Deputies took possession of the firearms for safekeeping.

*On Saturday, April 20, a resident of the 16000 block of Yaqui Court reported a .22 rifle had been stolen from his residence.

*On Saturday, April 20, deputies received a report that someone had stolen a Yamaha golf cart from the 16000 block of Laser Drive. The cart is valued at $2,000.

*On Sunday, May 21, Mesa Police contacted MCSO and asked for a welfare check on a man calling from Fountain Hills who believed his life was being threatened.

*On Monday, April 22, a Fountain Hills man reported that someone had used his Social Security number to file a false tax return.

*On Monday, April 22, a Gilbert man was cited for excessive speed when he was found to be traveling 71 miles per hour on McDowell Mountain Road where the speed limit is 45.

*On Tuesday, April 23, a resident in the 15000 block of Acacia Way reported a pool vacuum valued at $350 had been stolen.

*On Tuesday, April 23, deputies arrested a Fountain Hills man on an outstanding warrant. He fled from deputies attempting to arrest him in the Target store parking lot. He ran into the store where he was tackled by a deputy. Disorderly conduct and resisting arrest were added to the warrant charges.

*On Thursday, April 11, a woman was arrested for extreme DUI following a traffic stop near Forest and McDowell Mountain roads in Rio Verde.

*On Tuesday, April 2, a resident reported that someone had attempted to break into their garage by driving into the door at a residence on 139th Way in Maricopa County.

*On Tuesday, April 16, deputies investigated a traffic accident on McDowell Mountain Road. The driver reported he swerved to avoid a traffic cone and struck the guardrail.

*On Wednesday, April 24, deputies received a report that a juvenile female, age 17, allegedly struck her mother in the face during an argument.

*On Wednesday, April 10, deputies were called when an abandoned vehicle was discovered in the wash near Tioga and Falcon drives. The vehicle was discovered after crews had trimmed vegetation in the wash.

*On Thursday, April 11, a man reported his pickup truck was stolen from where it was parked along the shoulder near Rio Verde Drive and 160th Street.

*On Monday, April 22, a female juvenile, age 14, was found to be in possession of alcohol while on the Fountain Hills High School campus. She was also cited for underage consumption of alcohol. Deputies received a message via Text-A-Tip that the girl was disrupting class and appeared to be drunk.

*On Wednesday, April 24, deputies received a report of a fire in the wash near Calico and LaJara drives. Deputies found a neighbor who was working to prevent the fire from spreading and the fire department arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire.

*On Friday, April 19, juvenile male, age 14, was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct at the Fountain Hills Middle School. The boy reportedly stood up in class and said he was going to jail and began to be disruptive. Deputies arrived while he was with the assistant principal. He had turned over furniture in the office. Charges were submitted to juvenile detention authorities.

*On Monday, April 22, deputies responded to a traffic accident off Lone Mountain Road in Maricopa County. Two vehicles passing on a common driveway collided when one driver lost control reaching for his cell phone. The second driver was taken to the hospital complaining of neck and back pain.

*On Thursday, April 25, a man was injured when his motorcycle went down on Grande Boulevard at Del Cambre Ave. The driver said he was adjusting himself to a more comfortable position on the seat when he lost control. He was taken to the hospital complaining of arm and shoulder injuries.

*On Friday, April 26, a resident of the 16000 block of Sabinas Drive reported three tortoises were missing from his yard. They have a value of $1,500.

*On Sunday, April 28, deputies investigated after someone apparently struck a sign in the median on Saguaro Boulevard at El Lago Boulevard and continued southbound on Saguaro without stopping.
