The guest speaker will be Richard Young, a retired technology specialist with the federal government. He has been involved in genealogy for more than 40 years.
He has written several blogs, including familyhistorytech.com that investigates technology and genealogy. He has taught genealogy courses at a local community college, and has been a presenter at FHExpo, Rootstech 2014, and local Family History Society meetings across the greater Phoenix/Mesa area.

The Fountain Hills Chapter of the Family History Society of Arizona will learn to use Facebook in genealogy searches at its next meeting, 9 a.m., Monday, March 13, in the Community Center.
The guest speaker will be Richard Young, a retired technology specialist with the federal government. He has been involved in genealogy for more than 40 years.
He has written several blogs, including familyhistorytech.com that investigates technology and genealogy. He has taught genealogy courses at a local community college, and has been a presenter at FHExpo, Rootstech 2014, and local Family History Society meetings across the greater Phoenix/Mesa area.
He currently serves on the board of directors for the Family History Society of Arizona and the Arizona Genealogical Advisory Board.
A question and answer period will follow his presentation.
The Fountain Hills Chapter of the Family History Society of Arizona meets the second Monday of every month from September through May.
Meetings, unless otherwise published, are in the Community Center. Everyone is invited to attend and mentors are always willing to assist beginners in family research.
After the meeting, members meet at a local restaurant for a no host lunch.
