Lee Arthur Robinson, age 87, died on October 23, 2024. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on July 11, 1937, to George and Beatrice Robinson. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1955 and attended Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, where he played in the marching band. He married Jane Delanty in 1960 in Traverse City, Michigan. He went to work for Sears in Saginaw in 1959 and continued with the company for 35 years, moving to Freeport, Illinois, Kankakee, Illinois, Des Moines, Iowa, Arlington Heights, Illinois, and then to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, where he was the store manager. After retirement, they moved to Fountain Hills, Arizona, where he was an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and The Club. Later, they moved to Chandler, Arizona. Lee is survived by his wife, Jane, four daughters and one son; Laurie (Tim) Collins; Lisa Robinson (Chris Jones); John (Sheila) Robinson; Kristine (James) Poppe; and Anne (Scott) Bender; as well as his much loved grandchildren; Mike (Lory) Andy, and Maggie Collins; David, Sofia (Michael Phelps), and Elena Lazaro; Kieran Robinson; Erica, Darcy, and Holly Lyons; and Grace and Allison Bender and great granddaughters Juliana Jane and Mariella Elisa Phelps. He is also survived by his sister Nancy (Mark) Grajeda, brother Larry (Drewe) Robinson, sister-in-law Sandi Robinson, brothers-in-law Bill (Jil) Delanty and Jim (Donna) Delanty. Jane and Lee greatly value their AFS daughters Bolette Juhl of Greenland and Bibiana (Vicente) Falco Badenes and their children Aviaja and Victor Juhl and Nicolas, Claudio, and Uma Falco. Lee loved traveling, sports, community involvement, music and family and friendship above all else. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Hospice of the Valley for their invaluable help to him and his family would be his wish. Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
