Lee March, 72, of Scottsdale, passed away on Dec. 24, 2016. Lee was a beloved brother, husband, father, papa, uncle, cousin, friend, neighbor, co-worker/boss and fellow American.
He has given so much love, support, guidance, and of course his opinion to many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sue of 48 years; son, Jeff (Donna); daughter, Leeanne (Mike); two granddaughters, Hannah and Bree; grandson, Braden in Arizona; two sisters, Patti Johnson (Ray) and Marlene Gallagher (Kevin); brother, Gary Shaw (Kate) in Michigan.
Lee also worked for 37 years for Avnet Inc, where he started in Detroit, Mich. for a few years, before moving to the corporate location in Southern California (Thousand Oaks), and then the corporation moved to Phoenix where he retired.
Lee was an amazing family man, Catholic, devout sunset seeker at the beach, and a big Navy fan after serving almost three years as a sonar technician.
A memorial will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, with a prayer service at 10:30 a.m. within the Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd. Fountain Hills, AZ 85268.
Then to follow where he will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. within the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85024.
