The American Legion Post 58 is holding their elections for new officers on Saturday, May 19.

One member running for Commander is John Weedo. John is a leader with experience and passion to take the reins and make this “the Post of choice that every veteran in Arizona wants to be a proud member of.”

John intrinsically has the traits to lead by example -- through his sincerity, fairness, integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, passion, kindness and fun-loving spirit and work ethic.

John has held impressive leadership roles at the post that make this next step a perfect step forward.

As the American Legion Riders Post 58 president for the past three years, he has established and coordinated charity rides and events that have led to over $10,000 in charitable donations. In addition, the riders have donated $7,000 to the post for renovations. This group continues to create fun experiences for all to enjoy.

In his role also as junior vice commander of Post 58, John has supported the senior vice commander and commander in their roles, successfully managed the bar's business unit and employees and coordinated the entertainment programs and events held at the post.

A vote for John Weedo is a vote for a leader who will bring passion, experience, improvements and fun to your post. As a current member, please be sure to attend the May 19 meeting to cast your ballot.
