I wanted to give a big shout out to the Town of Fountain Hills for installing the exercise equipment at Desert Vista Park.

A friend and I went to the park a few weeks ago to run some laps around the soccer fields. After  finishing, we ended up walking over to what looked to be a new canopy on the east side of the park.

To our surprise, the new canopy was covering several modern pieces of exercise equipment. We spent the next few minutes trying out each station. Eventually, we realized there was even an app you could download to track your progress. The app not only allowed me to track my progress, but also adjust the tension on the pedals. How cool is that?

If you are looking for a place to enjoy the outdoors, get a good workout and not have to pay gym fees, I would recommend giving the Desert Vista Park exercise equipment a try. It truly is a hidden treasure!
